Reviewed By Raintree_ThailandThis small new resort (only opened three years ago, just before Covid) is super, super, super clean! Perhaps the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. They even request quests to remove their shoes before entering the reception lobby. Staff are well trained and speak excellent English; are helpful and knowledgeable. Most of the rooms are villa style, but they also have four regular hotel style rooms. All have nice views of the nearby mountains, agricultural fields and fish ponds. Our room had a small, but very nice balcony. Excellent wifi and internet connection. A real treat for me was the outstanding lighting in the room... I could actually read at night without straining or contributing to blindness (a real rarity for a hotel room... thanks!!). Fabulous bed and linens made for a great sleep. Good airconditioning and mini fridge. Snacks in the room provided free of charge! During Covid, their restaurant is not operating except for breakfast, but they have a coffee shop and excellent restaurants are only a few minutes drive away. My only suggestion is for them to improve their complimentary breakfast, which was disappointing (only plain white bread instead of whole grain, tasteless chicken sausage, reconstituted bacon, good vegetables for salad were the only saving grace for the breakfast). If they improve the breakfast, this place will be 5-stars plus!

New place but basic
Reviewed By schulte_bkkWe had troubles to find the place at late evening. Signs mainly in Thai language. The place is pretty new but not very well maintained, Unfinished ceiling paintings loose power cable in the bath room. Bed linen with stains from pal pens are not so great. The breakfast is Thai style and not very inviting same as the dining room. It is a mix of second hand furniture and cleaning tools

Reviewed By 834martindSuper clean and comfy place. Dont expect too much, for me its perfect. Also the stuff is super friendly and always try to help! They also allowed us to come with our Chihuahuas. I can definitely recommend this place.

Phu Rua View House is located amidst mountain scenery. When you look out from the window, you will see green fields in the rice farming. In the evening, when looking from the balcony of the lodge. You can see the sun going down the horizon. Watch the stars glittering from the sky at night. Morning mist on the mountain. See the peak of Phu Rua, standing in the midst of the mist. You will be refresh

Reviewed By Wingfield73The bathroom was large, clean and bright. The rooms are reasonably spacious but staircase very steep for handicapped. Bed very hard! No breakfast (though coffee available on an upstairs bar/terrace). Friendly proprietor but prices on the high side for standard of accommodation. However the a/c worked fine and the rooms were clean.
