Good hotel with great staff.

Beautiful location. Hotel amenities good. A La carte restaurants absolutely amazing. Feel the buffet could be better however most visits the service was good. Tough walk to the beach but very worth it. Can request a car to get you back up the hill. Would be nice to have music down there. The beach came alive during the music for the water aerobics… changed the whole atmosphere Got a great room upgrade - very thankful. Think the hotel need to review their policy on late checkout! Would also just highlight that the taxi boat the hotel use to take clients to Corfu town ( it’s a cost to you - not free) is not the best and I believe it could be a major risk if there was ever an incident. Too many people on one boat… 16 people!! … people sat on floor… not acceptable.!! Would advise to pay a little more and get a private boat.

Not impressed

We are currently staying here, this is our first night, not impressed. Rooms are terrible, asked to move at reception, was told to ask after midday tomorrow! This is not the room I booked, not for £1500 as a couple!, I feel a bit robbed, hotel is nice, rooms are very dated and broken!

Fantastic Ikos Dassia!

OK - this is going to be a hard review to write - not because I have any criticisms, but because our stay was so brilliant I'm not sure where to start with all the great stuff! So I'll start at the start - from the moment we arrived at the Ikos Dassia, we were stunned at how we were treated. We were greeted by Anastasia - our 'concierge' (more about her in a bit). Our luggage and hand luggage was taken up to our room while we stayed in the bar area. Fabulous decor in the communal areas of the hotel by the way. There is a special feel about the place. We were offered warmed towels to freshen us up and then taken to the main bar where we were served with chilled wine or juice while Anastasia gave us our introduction to where everything is and how to access it. Anastasia was amazing right throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Whatever we needed, we had only to ask and she would sort it, always with a huge smile on her face. Effectively she took the place of our TUI rep at times (who we never saw and as far as we know, never set foot in the place). Anastasia was the 'face' of Ikos while we were there and she is a massive credit to the Ikos organisation. Look after this one, Georgios! They do say that if you want to know what an organisation is like, look at the staff. We were both so grateful for the way all the customer services teams greeted us and looked after us. Reception staff, bar staff, beach staff (particularly Georgia and Pilar) were so happy and attentive. It was 38 degrees at times on the beach so it must have been tough sometimes but they were brilliant. I can only congratulate you on your staff Georgios - they do you immense credit. The room was very comfortable, with a fully stocked and regularly replenished fridge. Aircon was effective, quiet and un-intrusive. A super shower, with bath if needed. All we could ask for. The food was amazing. From the speciality restaurants, which we used most of the time, to the buffet restaurant in the Sea building, we did not have one indifferent meal and yet again, the staff were friendly and attentive at all times. Fantastic choice of quality wines by the way. If like us, you believe in tipping good service, you'd better take plenty of change! Not much more to add. Hopefully the reader will gather quite quickly what a great time we had. We would thoroughly recommend a holiday at Ikos Dassia to anyone. It's not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Try it, you will not be disappointed. Would we go back? Like a shot! 2023 is already booked elsewhere but look out for us in 2024!

Dassia Holiday Club

was for many years a reliable and econical option for famous Dassia districk on Corfu Island. It was an excellent choice for travelers visiting Dassia, offering a budget friendly environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. A new management team introdusing ''Dassia Holiday Club'' Hotel, a renovated 3* Hotel with brand new bungalows, bathrooms, a totally renovated lobby area, a brand new restaurant and a brand new pool area. Corfu Golden Hotels Group started the renovation in 2019 and it's still going to be ready before the opening of the new summer season 2020. Pictures and Reviews before November 2019 are not reliable any more, as a major renovation is taking place right now and a brand new management team upgrading the facilities and services provided to its guests.

Just Returned From a Great Week

Reviewed By debsdonut

Just returned yesterday from a weeks stay. I would rate this as a good 3 star (Greek standards Hotel). It is very clean the staff are excellent with a helpful attitude. The bar is well run and the pool lovely. Our room was clean and enough space for my boyfriend and I . The food; Breakfast there was a choice of cereal and cakes and pastries as well as continental breakfast. There were fried, scramble eggs and hard boiled eggs as well. Pancakes were available as well some days. Lunch was salad with a choice of hot food (not as much as dinner but alot if people it seemed didn't want to eat in the heat of the day. There are snacks (choice of 2/3) available from the pool bar as well. Dinner there was variety, there was always chips or salad available if you have really picky eaters or kids . There was a Greek night one night a week. There may be more entertainment in July/August I am not sure. There was no kids club so if you are looking for that facility then its a no. Again I am not sure if that is something they offer in the height of the summer. It is on a hill that is steep (although not Everest so for people with mobility issues ect., it may be difficult. They offer a mini bus service to the beach . The local bus route is on the man road at the bottom of the hill (turn left and head towards the Petrol station and you can catch a bus there to Corfu town which is worth a visit for the history and architecture. The drinks are not that strong, not a real issue for me as I did not want to sit there in 98 heat drinking alcohol all day day getting blitzed but I do wish the all inclusive was slightly later to maybe 10.45 or 11pm not a criticism but maybe a suggestion. Dassia as a resort is struggling thanks to the massive all inclusive Hotel which is killing off local business but it does have some nice tavernas tucked away and we ate out twice. Both meals lovely. I would return definatley. .

Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful

Reviewed By GrandTour730377

We stayed at this hotel early May, all the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Reception staff helped us book quad bikes, a boat trip (BBQ on the boat) and private hire boat (Corfu boat & rib hire) which made it very easy for us- all those experiences were amazing, and again the service from each was exceptional. The rooms were nice and clean. The only slight negative is there wasn’t much of a selection of food at breakfast and dinner time, therefore we ended up eating out of the hotel more. Not sure if this is due to us going very early in the season. Overall we had a lovey stay at this hotel.
