Surrender Point

I have travelled to Labuan 4 times over the last 7 years and this visit to Surrender Point was very disappointing. Whether it has been vandalised or just in need of urgent repairs the monument has been neglected. The peace park which is maintained by the Japanese Government was it's usual neat self. This is the spot where in September 1945 the surrender took place and how about the Australian Government preserving this monument in a proper manner.

I Love KK

Reviewed By Grumpy_1938 - Manila, Philippines

In all my travels this one place I could live. Such a beautiful place and the people are fantastic so friendly and helpful, The waterfront has everything you could ask for, great restaurants, bars, sit outside and watch the boats on the river, just so lovely. then wander along to the food stalls for some of the best seafood you will find anywhere. Highly recommend KK for a visit, plenty of good cheap accommodation just across the road from the Waterfront.
