Monument of Alessandro Volta

Wow, can’t believe that we stumbled upon such a historical exhibit in Como. I have now visited two birthplaces, exhibits and monuments of the most inspiring geniuses of all time. Nicolas Tesla a few years back in Croatia and now in Como which to tell you the truth I had never heard of before our visit. A Stunningly gorgeous city and with none other than the Alessandro Volta’s scientific experiments of the late 18th century in a Temple named after him. In this building there were countless experiments in showcases all in fine restored and some in original condition which lead up to his most famous experimentation of all time the discovery of the battery. Imagine, without this genius where would our modern world be but without the IPhone, portable computers and of course the electric car. Signed a seasonal Canadian traveler.

Modern imposant Art Symbol, for our electric life, in honour of Alessandro Volta, to remember the unit of Volt, a mark of power, (I think), impressive, near the lake of Como.
