Old Street B & B

We offer a beautiful, grade11 listed property, with a separate guests coach house at rear. Which is Very private and quiet. The coach house consists of 3 en-suite rooms and a wonderful communal lounge for your use and enjoyment. We offer a family room, and 2 double rooms, all of which can be used as singles at reduced rates. The guests dining room is located at the front of the main house, with a very olde English feel to it. Full breakfast options are available and there is 24hr acces to your accommodation. We are very conveniently located just a 1 minute walk from the very centre of upton. Both buildings have recently undergone a full refurbishment and we hope you come and enjoy a wonderful stay with us. Darrell & Rachel.

Exquisite

What a find! The property is expertly run by Darryl who is the perfect host. The rooms are quaint but perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything needed is in the room - together with great wi-fi. The beds are super-comfy. Breakfast is 'to order' the previous evening and cooked freshly for you. Really nothing I can fault here.

Lunch by the river

We had the best ham egg and chips and sausage egg and chips. Very welcoming staff, and great service. Lovely spot right next to the river. We chose here because it’s such a nice looking building, with a sun trap eating area.

A Roaring stay at The White Lion.

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at this unique hotel. Family run with staff that were kept on through Covid you could not ask for better service or meals with an amazing breakfast that is included and served in the restaurant of this Tudor building. The pub and seating area is cosy offering a wide choice of beers on tap. Lunches and dinner are home-cooked by the chefs and very tasty. Friendly atmosphere we felt right at home both at The White Lion and Upton on Severn with its phenomenal Folk Festival and lovely people.

You definitely get what you pay for!

On the plus side there's a friendly host. On the downside, the rooms are really dated and tired. You can easily hear voices, TV and toilet flushing from other rooms. Their dog woke me up barking at 11pm and 7.15am. I chose it for price so lesson learnt!

Upton, with its delightful Inns, Hotels and pubs host a variety of large music events each year such as the Jazz, Folk, Blues and Sunshine festivals that draws crowds in their thousands. What a hidden side to this place

I had only been in to the little bar on the right before, one rainy evening a couple of years back, I couldn’t get out fast enough as it was full of some interesting types. Fast forward to this year, found the main part of the hotel, it’s beautiful and the bar and seating areas were lovely and pretty cost effective. Lovely upstairs function room, will be back

Honey pod camping

Reviewed By 373royk

Don't expect luxuries like grass cut so you don't Wade through long wet grass (unless you are lucky enough that his friends /family turn up) Showers and kitchen covered in spiders web (but again get cleaned when special guests arrive). That table and chair outside your tent is only there if special guests don't need more than the 2 allocated to each tent.in which case they are removed without notice. On arrival you are advised to check in at the Drum and Monkey pub. Who will promptly advise that honey pot farm is nothing to do with them
