Sunday Lunch

Whilst on holiday we visited mid-week for an early evening drink. The staff and customers were very friendly and chatty. We returned for the Sunday lunch and had a very tasty meal. Although the staff were busy nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend people to come. The rest of the menu looked interesting. Pity we weren't staying longer in the area.

Ideal for short walking/sightseeing break

Lovely public rooms and grounds. Hotel was warm, comfortable and served good food. The staff and management were excellent. Two resident HF Leaders were very helpful giving us advice for our self guided walks. A higher rating could not be given because our bathroom was cold (wall heater did not work) and damp. Bedroom lighting was very dim and the TV the size of a computer monitor. A supplement can be paid for a superior room so this would be a way of ensuring a good standard. I can recommend visiting Amberley Village and Petworth House. There is good walking on the nearby South Downs with excellent views.

BEAUTIFUL QUIET STAY IN A FABULOUS FARM SETTING

Reviewed By Portsmouthstu66

Kilsham farm is a little gem set within acres & acres of beautiful county side, Liz was a superb host, our room was lovely it smelt so nice & clean, in fact it was probably the best room I’ve ever stayed in, bathroom was huge with everything you need, Good sized walk in shower & a shower with nice water pressure. The views from the windows were superb, rolling country side with sheep everywhere, chickens were all around in numbers & the nature was in abundance, Just having the noise of the sheep & chickens & birds was enough to realise that you were in the country side & away from the busy city life, Just for your information a visit to the white Hart Pullborough is a must, set on a river with a beautiful bridge the pub is stunning, Breakfast was lovely, everything that you could possibly ask for & the attention to detail for Liz was sublime. Thank you Liz for making our stay the most wonderful time. Hope to see you again in the near future.
