Treated like a king

Reviewed By Dave B

What a place this is.....David & Carol were amazing.....David left no stone unturned and gave me a total tour of every room downstairs and full instructions for everything.....They would do ANYTHING at any time to help and make our stay as best as possible..... The best thing was the breakfast.....although there is no hot food, there is a buffet laid out (inc cereals, bread and other bits.....but the best bit was we could eat it at ANY TIME WE WANTED......David's mantra is "breakfast is served from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave"......used crockery & cutlery was put in a bowl and they get taken away regularly and replaced. We could use the kitchen all day, including a fridge & freezer. SUPERB shower, lovely comfy bed, great views, very spacious room, (all on ground floor) and constant access to Fruit & a bowl of sweets. Wonderful experience.

Port Haverigg Marina Village

Tired site in some parts

Reviewed By Yozza8

Stayed here in a private air bnb. The site itself does look a bit tired in some places. Some great modern caravans but some others really in need of upgrading and a few were eyesores with broken and rotting decking. The general site grounds themselves were not in great condition and areas like down the left side of the ski bar were an absolute mess. A great location facing the lake and the beach is a cracker. It just feels like the site in general needs some investment. If I owned a van here I’d be asking what my fees where paying for
