We have a cozy bar, with open fires, a stylish restaurant and 10 large, individual rooms. Families are welcome, as are pets. The hotel is no smoking throughout. Private car park.

We came for 3 nights on this visit over the jubilee weekend bringing our two dogs We had the taster menu on the first night and it was stunning, we didn’t eat on the second night as we were back late and had the ubiquitous Rick Stein fish & chips in Padstow but we ate on the third night and again it was lovely. My wife never eats a cooked breakfast normally as she’s not that keen but always has one at Lifton as she says it’s the best she’s tasted (quality local ingredients) Nothing is too much trouble and as my one dog tends to bark at strangers (only until he’s greeted as he’s a lab and wants attention) they set up the second dining room just for us, which was a lovely touch and very appreciated. when I discovered I had left a pair of jeans and a jumper in the bottom drawer, no problem they are posting them to me If you a looking for a dog friendly hotel that is in a great location for exploring Devon and Cornwall with excellent service and lovely staff then visit here See you again Dale & Nicky

Beautiful spot
Reviewed By jogreenladySecluded and peaceful yet easy to find and perfect for a weekend away. Luxury studio was clean with all the facilities you would require. Hosts friendly and welcoming and left us to it after showing us the accommodation. Dog friendly was a huge bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Great B&B in good location for exploring
Reviewed By Climber17055700724Amazing B&B , great breakfast ( best mushrooms ever). Perfect location for exploring, with the north and south coast no more than an hours drive away. We visited Tintagel, Looe, Padstow, Newquay and Bodmin all easily accessible .The B&B is very welcoming and comfortable.

Awful communication unfortunately
Reviewed By 161eviesMy partner booked this trip as a surprise. Unfortunately night before we were suppose to travel a fell very ill so he had to cancel in the morning of our trip. We tried to get partial refund. Booking.com has made numerous attempts to contact the owners to explain our situation to no avail. I tried to contact them and manager told me as a goodwill gesture they would partially refund us, which was 3 weeks ago and since then no contact. I have again followed up with an email, but not heard anything back. I find business who doesn't respond to customers not reliable unfortunately and its massive let NO from me!
