Weano Gorge (Handrail Pool)

The lovely hike to the handrail pool with beautiful reflections is worth to do it. The walk is moderate and we saw many impressive old rock formations. That's what Karijini NP makes special. The scenery is unique and amazing

Dales Gorge Campground

Reviewed By maritam2015 - Palmerston, Australia

This is a great campground. The sites are spacious and there are good toilets. It's well situated to do some of the walks and visit some of the park's attractions. Our only problem was that tourists (often young people in rental vehicles) drive too fast around the camp, continually stirring up so much dust.

Roebourne Heritage Trail

Roebourne was gazetted in 1866 and was the first town in North West of Western Australia. The Roebourne Heritage Trail is a self-guided walk trail that takes you past the most significant heritage sites in Roebourne. It provides an insight into life for the early settlers and Aboriginal people all those years ago. The trail also contains numerous registered Aboriginal sites.

4. Ngurin Bush Tucker Trail

Roebourne, Western Australia 6718 Australia http://karratha.wa.gov.au/Ngurin-Bush-Tucker-Trail

The Ngurin Bush Tucker Trail is a self-guided walk around the Harding River (Ngurin), which utilises existing tracks and the old De Gray Street bridge. The Ngurin and all the vegetation surrounding it, holds great significance to the Ngarluma people. Ngarluma Elders helped designed the walk and provided insight into bush tucker, medicine and artefacts used by Aboriginal people.
