Arrowhead Brewing Company

Arrowhead Brewing Company is a craft beer brewery located in Invermere, which is in between Radium and Fairmont, just two hours from Banff and 3 hours from Calgary, in the heart of the Columbia Valley, East Kootenay, British Columbia. We brew and package all of our beer right here at Arrowhead. Customers can either enjoy a pint or a beer tasting flight here in our tap room, or take home 6 packs, bomber bottles or growlers. We often have at least 10 beers available, including 2 or 3 seasonal brews. Our selection varies greatly in flavour, style and colour. Our beer is craft brewed with only natural ingredients and mountain spring water; containing no additives or preservatives.

We went to buy the local beer to take back home. The staff was absolutely friendly and had quite the sense of humour. We didn’t stay to have a drink ‘cause we were driving (no drinking and driving allowed) ever. The environment was interesting and I loved the decor. Definitely recommend this place.

Westside legacy trail

Reviewed By DOWNTIMEDON - Edmonton, Canada

We went biking on the trail this summer and approximately 10 of the 25 km was finished and paved. Let me tell you this was awesome. Spectacular views and a wonderful ride. I am so pumped to try this when the full trail is finished to Fairmont. Be aware that this trail is not like the Cranbrook to Kimberly Rails to Trails path which was made on an old train line with gradual slope. The Westside Legacy Trail has quite significant hill climbs and of course the fun descents. I would say you would need at least an average level of biking fitness to make this enjoyable. ***Also a Warning*** some of the hills have sharp switchback corners with significant drop offs on the side of the path. If you are an in-experienced rider or going with young kids, be aware of this because I do foresee people going too fast downhill and unable to navigate some of the corners.

We came just to see the beautiful views. They really are stunning. Lots of picnic tables and playgrounds too, water is sandy though the beach is not. Large bathrooms. We walked all along the shore nearly to Kinsmen beach. Highly recommend.
