The best part (other than the super friendly owners) was the vodka that had been flavored by steeping various things - jalapenos, cucumber, COFFEE, etc Try everything there, it's delicious!

Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery

Over 230 years ago, the story of our distillery began with the construction of the Tuthilltown Gristmill, a testament to New York ingenuity. Now it plays host to another New Yorker, Ralph Erenzo, who made whiskey in the state for the first time since Prohibition. That bold, pioneering spirit permeates every part of our craft. Our home is where innovation, collaboration, art, and exploration converge. It's where New York converges too. Our 36 acres are situated on the outer fringe of the New York metropolitan area, at the foot of the Shawangunk Mountains, in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We're inspired by all of it, from the bright lights of Broadway to the Hudson Valley's scenic views. Discover the natural beauty of our home, and join us for a tour, guided tasting, or cocktail workshop to get a taste of the way we do things.

If you like whiskey, this is the place to come and have some tastings. The place is nice, cozy, the drinks are great and the people and service is great. They have a bar on sight so you can have cocktails with their whiskey. Our bartender, Nick, made for us some really good drinks. You need to try the Bear Skin Rug or the Cowboy Coffee, they are amazing cocktails. Thank you Nick for the GREAT cocktails!

My wife and I stopped here before heading to the Woodstock museum. My wife does not like whiskey and I am not a huge fan but always willing to try new tastes. This whiskey is very high end. Outside of the rye one (but to fair, I dislike all rye whiskey) I thought the flight was very good. I especially enjoyed the gin! The pricing was very reasonable for the servings. The bartender was very friendly and engaging too. Finally, the bathroom was very clean, which always impresses me at establishments whose primary purpose is serving drinks. If you are a fan of whiskey or just like to try new things, I highly recommend a stop here.

Coppersea Distilling

A very Rustic barn serves as a tasting room. Very comfortable surrounding in which Christopher will explain the old fashioned process from growing crops to making sour mash. Knowing It is so involved , it makes the products even more desirable. Should be on one's bucket list to taste and visit the property. I'll be back again and again with friends.
