Reviewed By Killie1953It is quite a difficult journey from Kathmandu to the hotel,and I was really glad we had a driver as the road is in a terrible condition The hotel is located on the side of a hill directly facing the Himalaya range . For most of the time we were there,all but one or two mountains were covered in cloud but when the cloud lifted for short periods,the view of the full range was unforgettable The hotel has an excellent decking area to have a coffee and look at the scenery The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable And again are all facing the mountains Meals were buffet service and were satisfactory rather than good. It is not the fault of the hotel but the manners of some of the guests at the buffet left a lot to be desired,pushing to get in front as if they thought that the food was going to run out. Other than that we enjoyed our visit to this hotel

Reviewed By annecaroline011Liked · The place is located right at the top of the mountain so the view should be amazing. Unfortunately it was cloudy during our stay. The food is really good, we enjoyed a lot the restaurant and the breakfast is also very nice. The room is new, comfortable and nice, good view, we stayed in the standard which is on the building still under construction so the noise starts very early. Disliked · The standard room is very nice but in the middle of the construction, so the noise starts very early and at night it is a bit dark to get there. Everything else is good. OH, the red wine - they only have sweet :)

Reviewed By NUPURG321We stayed at this property in June. It's a charming place, an old fort converted into a guesthouse. The rooms are very large , spacious, well lit with large windows and views of the mountains. Our rooms were on the first floor and opened onto a terrace sit out area. The hotel has ample out door seating spaces to enjoy the serene atmosphere. The food is excellent too. The staff is very courteous and polite. Overall and excellent stay!

The Everest Manla Resort is located in Nagarkot, 36 km north-east of Kathmandu, at an altitude of 2100 m. In addition to acres of beautiful natural terraces and landscaped gardens, it offers rooms for individual and group travel in three houses in cozy and typically local architecture. In 12 single, double and triple rooms we can accommodate a total of 26 guests. All rooms have mountain and sunrise views and are equipped to western standards. The comfortably furnished rooms have a bathroom with shower and toilet each.

Reviewed By GodieSchWe arrived in the darkness, hiking. In the village below we found a Wifi place, so we found this resort with a good price. 34 euro for 1 night, 2 rooms, 3 persons and breakfast. By checkin the manager said the prices he had just, half an hour before upgraded to 6500 Rs = 48 euro. We ordered dinner at 18.30 and every time we asked if its ready, the manager said yes in 10 min. 20.30, 2 hours later the dinner was there.

Hotel with Excellent Views and Large Room
Reviewed By Amey NWe have stayed in this hotel at Nagarkhot. The hotel is located a bit interior from town and also the road to it is bumpy. The rooms at hotel are quite large and have a decent ambience. The rooms have balcony from which you can get a excellent view of sunrise in Himalayas. (provided there is no fog) The hotel has good bar and restaurant, garden and lobby. The food is bit expensive, the lunch which we had was average but breakfast was very good. Over all satisfied with service provided by Hotel. Please keep with the good work!!!
