Reviewed By Shutterbug_IyerWe were a family of two senior citizens and an adult with an infant. We had made sure on the phone that it was appropriate for us. However, on arrival we were slightly disappointed. Location: The property is on the Palai- Erattupettah main road. It is well outside the Palai Municipal limits but walking distance from the famous shrine of St.Alphonsa. If you do not have your own transport, it can be inconvenient. As we had our car this was not an issue. Reception: Despite our booking in advance and providing information on the time of arrival etc. , we found no one at the reception. After a couple of phone calls, a staff member came from his siesta and checked us in. He seemed to be aloof and probably a stand-in for regular staff. Rooms: The rooms are well designed and spacious. The bathrooms were also well fitted out. The bedrooms were air-conditioned. Amenities: Despite our informing the requirements at the time of booking, we had to individually ask for oven, cutlery, tableware, etc. Shows a lack of experience or poor occupancy. Service: The temporary staff looked inexperienced. The Nepali room boy made up for it with his enthusiasm. The regular manager who came on the second day at least was sensitive to our needs. On the first day, the staff could not configure the wi-fi despite his best efforts. It was configured on the last day. To add to our woes, the lift failed on the first evening itself and we had to climb up to the 3rd floor with the senior citizens and the infant. Being a holiday, it was repaired only the night before we checked out. If they learn from the experience, the property could be recommended for small groups and families with their own transport for visiting Palai or surrounding areas.

Reviewed By sidyzworldThe local transportation peoples like rikshawaala and bus drivers are not aware of this property. They donno where this belongs to. The hotel is very average and provides terrible services. Im not recommending this!
