Our Hotel is located in Falconara Marittima, 400 meters from the beach and one kilometer from the city center and the train station.Falconara maritime is an excellent base for business or tourist purposes: the airport is 5 km, the Port of Ancona Km 8, the A14 motorway exit Ancona Nord and access to the SS-76 Ancona Rome Km.5 the Hotel is easily accessible: its central location, but far from traffic, is able to ensure a peaceful stay in a quiet and equipped with all comforts.In the summer our heated swimming pool is available to all our guests.Our restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, offers the best local specialties accompanied by a selection of quality wines.

Reviewed By Desertfan1I stayed at Hotel Touring twice while traveling in and out of the Marche region. Overall, my stays were very pleasant. Lufthansa services Ancona airport from Munich, but the last flight into the airport arrives pretty close to midnight. I took a taxi from the airport to Hotel Touring (20 euro). There is a shuttle service as well, but I only booked that for the short trip down to the Falconara Marittima rail station (5 euro and a very convenient way to get to the train). Breakfast was good and the staff is very helpful. Overall, the only thing I can really say that's negative about the hotel is that the beds aren't very nice and the rooms are pretty dated.

Great place near the airport with INCREDIBLY nice host
Reviewed By mvgavinDue to my error with the train system, I arrived very late with no taxis to be found. The host insisted that she pick me up at the train station. It's such a joy to find this kind of kindness anytime but especially when you are so stressed. The accommodations were squeaky clean with all sorts of thoughtful amenities. The only caveat is that there is no elevator and you must carry your luggage up the stairs. Next time I leave from this airport on an early flight, I will definitely be back.

Great Place to Stay
Reviewed By jimnatalie120549On a trip from Aberdeen to Kos (Greece) in 2008, my son and i had an overnight stay here while waiting to board the Ancona to Patras ferry. The room was basic and clean with excellent food (real Italian cooking) and when presented with the bill in the morning we were slightly surprised with the price "very cheap" indeed and we both agreed if this trip was to be repeated, it would be the Hotel to stay. Therefore when my wife and i planned the same route on our new CanAm Spyder last month, this would be the best place to stay, plus she wanted to taste the food that my son and i had talked so much about. We did not book in advance and were welcomed by the Manager and staff who remembered my visit from 2008. They also insisted that the spyder was parked right outside the front door and we were given the room directly above, which was spacious and clean with free Wi-Fi. That night we had a meal which was second to none, with very generious helpings, so much so that there was not enough room for a sweet course. Then in the morning when we received the bill, another shock was in store as the prices charged related to 2008 prices. This hotel is recommended for an overnight stay or maybe a weekend.

Reviewed By cervelo_rsWe needed a bed near to Ancona airport and found this one. It was very cheap, but was much better than we expected. A large double, with a small kitchen area. It was clean, had a comfy bed and was perfect. For €3 a person, we got a good breakfast. The woman who runs it speaks good. English. Recommended.
