Surrounded by beautiful mountain and Namhan River, this small but cozy hostel is best for travellers. Perfect location visitng main tourist attractions and only two minutes away from the Danyang bus terminal. Owner also runs cafe, Coffee myungga, on the first floor, so that you can enjoy authentic coffee of their own and homemade bakeries. Rio127 used to be a Rivertel few years ago, they changed their name and remodeled the rooms for their guests. Unlike other hostels or gusethouse, each room has private bathroom. Free-wifil available in the room.

Reviewed By HJ Li am writing this review sitting in front of the my room at 3 AM ... because i am just waken by 3 cockroachs and 2 mosquitos in my room. i had to call the reception to ask for anything to kill them. After 2 calls, the owner showed up with insecticide and blamed us for opening the window...(we have never opened the mosquito net on the window though) Anyway we used the insectcide and had to evacuated until the the toxic air goes away.. Which will take quite awhile because now the window is sealed following to the owner's advices. So i decided to make the best of the long waiting hours keeping a record of this memorable moment of our vacation. i hope this helps anyone looking for a hostel where they can observe cockroachs closely and cozily while lying down in bed.

Somewhere to sleep
Reviewed By kesamokkiSomewhere to sleep but that's about it. The shower is very powerful and at night it's quiet so you can sleep. Bar those, there's not a lot positive about Someday. It's quite a walk from the centre of Danyang (I ended up staying here as my original reservation was cancelled by the host property) but a 5min taxi ride from Danyang station. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm and was the only person. The room felt dated and the mattress was so worn that I could feel the springs. There is a window but it is covered in bubble wrap and looks onto an alley so barely any natural light. The common area doubles as a public cafe giving it a slightly strange feel. It's too far out of town to really attract people to drink there. Left too early to try breakfast. Staff are friendly if you ask them for information. They don't openly volunteer anything. Wouldn't choose to stay here again but could have been dirty or much worse.

Cozy, lovely & thoughtfully designed ?

We love the way the apartment is furnished - the drapes, the lovely lace curtain adorning one wall of the bedroom, cute accessories and kitchen. It is a wonderful testament to the thoughtful design of the female owner. Even the bedroom slippers are cute! Although we stayed only 1 night, it was worth the 3 hr drive from Seoul as Danyang-gun is quite a pretty sight in mid April with the cherry blossoms. We had a comfortable stay thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner's mum. Though we don't speak Korean & she does not speak English, we had no difficulty understanding her. ? We are happy with the simple breakfast though we had to prepare it ourselves. If we ever decide to re-visit Danyang, we will stay here again.

Rooms come with air conditioning. Featuring a shower, bathrooms also come with a hairdryer. Guests at Guesthouse can use a shared kitchen and a lounge area. Luggage storage services are available. The property is an 20-minute walk from Lake Gosu cave, a 25-minute drive from Sobak National Park and a 30-minute drive from Guinsa Temple. Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other properties in this city.

Reviewed By HndicnI loved this place. It’s amazing value for what you get. The owner is super friendly and helps you get your bearings with tourist information. Rooms are really clean and the bed is very comfortable. Location is perfect, very near the bus stop for the bus from Seoul. They don’t offer breakfast but there’s a convenience store seconds away. You can buy your food and eat it in the shared kitchen. Danyang is in a beautiful location and staying here will help you get the best out of your trip. The owner works hard to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. This place deserves to do well.

Reviewed By M108CDmelaniesLändlich, ruhig und umgeben von Grün. Nach dem Trubel der Stadt eine perfekte Abwechslung. Die Gastfamilie betreut ihre Gäste sehr herzlich und das Gebäude ist top im Schuss und an Top-Lage. Das Städtchen in guter Distanz und irgendwie speziell. Die Zimmer einfach aber zweckmässig eingerichtet und der Aufenthaltsraum mit modernster Ausstattung inklusive Nudelsuppen-Automaten und gekühltem Bier aber auch Tee und Kaffee. Würde das Guesthouse wärmstens weiterempfehlen und wünsche der Familie viel Erfolg. Der Einsatz stimmt total.
