Llanerch Vineyard Tours

Reviewed By LaurenD811 - Cardiff, United Kingdom

Myself and my partner booked this as a post lockdown treat and we both really enjoyed it. We were the only two people on the tour so it did feel extra special but I’m sure it would of been fantastic in a group too. Excellent value for money and Adam our guide was really knowledgable and had a fun personality which isn’t always present in tours like this. Will be booking more tours in the future as I think it will make a lovely gift for family members.

Vale Spa

Reviewed By 717markj - Leeds, United Kingdom

We booked a early weekend retreat having had some more concrete plans interfered with by COVID. We found a reasonable rate for a B&B with half spa day last minute, generally the experience was positive. COVID temp checks when you come in are a plus. I found myself having a lovely massage, the masseuse (Mary) was thorough and professional. Aspects of the spa look slightly dated, more around the pool, sauna and steam access is currently prohibited due to COVID, as others have noted there is limited information of that til the day. The water beds are lovely and a nice touch, but after that you feel a little lost of what to do. 3-4 hours is enough to experience this spa, the afternoon tea was perfectly made. Cakes were nice, drinks were good. Staff were great, smooth introduction and tour. Robes and towels are available in your preparations bag and these are of a high quality and not worn or old. I have size 12 feet, the slippers were a ‘little’ tight. The Vale Spa is a place for treatment with options to extend out for a few hours, a few alternate options would help spread out your day, if you come prepared you can make it work. I’m not sure how much COVID is effecting this mind, Myself and my partner have been to a fair few spa days, this may not be the top of the list, but we had a lovely time and would revisit if the price was right. Given the bundle we received I feel everything was about right. A lovely team, keep up your good work.
