Years ago this was a small expensive and unfriendly garden centre. But by chance we popped In and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of fabulous changes that have been made. It's much larger than it used to be and lots of plants and stock to look at. Friendly and knowledgeable staff at hand to help you. They were just setting up their Christmas display and the guy that served us said we were the first customers to buy Christmas baubles. Its fabulous! Well worth a visit and do visit the rose garden cafe. We had a breakfast and it was freshly cooked. They cater for most tastes. Lots on the menu you can have a tea or coffee with cake or a snack or main course. We really like it and look forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work.

The Pop Up Farm

Reviewed By therichastill - Stevenage, United Kingdom

I visited in October 2020 when it was possible to go places but remain socially distanced. We went to get pumpkins and had a booking to turn up. I was very impressed at how well the whole operation was managed in terms of keeping apart from other visitors and paking. As well as picking out pumpkins we were able to get a hot drink and a snack and payment by card was easily done. Obviously this is a field so it is VERY MUDDY but we knew this was going to be the case so went prepared. Its a great way to get your pumpkins with lots of information about the right type of pumpkin and what you are planning to do with it (eg carving or in food).
