Just out of the city of modern bustling Guangyuan, this ancient Buddhist site is situated in a beautiful park beside the river. An easy couple of hours to visit and has some glorious carvings and niches full of enigmatic Buddhist art. Lots are damaged but there is enough, colourful, intact pieces to make this a very worthwhile and enjoyable visit. The park itself is quiet and beautifully landscaped, and has an interesting museum. Cave is about 2 km long with lots of stalagmites. Whole cavern is lightened with colorful led lights. Specific taste, but interesting to see.
Whole reception area is well developed and prepared for international guest. Recommendation for visitors in this area. Especially to have some cool activity during the hot summer time.

Just out of the city of Guangyuan, this steep hillside contains a few interesting niches and pieces and one truly magnificent grotto. There is a museum and a few steles and carvings but the one area is the main event, and as the site is very easy to visit, makes it a very worthy visit

水磨沟是一个瀑流群，位于四川广元朝天区。
前往广元朝天各景区,可从成都乘坐普通火车或者高铁抵达广元站,再从广元的北门汽车站,乘坐中巴到达朝天区(票价9元,30分钟抵达)。
广元朝天区是秦岭南麓蜀道起点上的第一个政治、经济、文化中心,素有“秦蜀重镇”、“川北门户”之称。相传唐玄宗为避“安史之乱”而奔蜀,各州县曾在此迎驾,称“朝见天子”,故名“朝天”,引申为“朝天向上”之意。
交通住宿:从朝天去水磨沟,要先抵达中子镇,在中子镇拼车比较好,可以住在中子镇;或者住在曾家镇,从曾家镇返回中子镇租车,这样更实惠(从朝天到曾家镇的车子每天7:00、10:00、13:00禅、16:00,票价15元,车程40分钟左右;从朝天到中子镇的车一天会比较多,坐满即走,票价7元,车程20分钟左右)。也就是说,从朝天往曾家山方向,先经过中子镇,在到达曾家镇,水磨沟位于离中子镇较近的区域。
水磨沟门票30元，个人觉得比较实惠，景区内有通勤电瓶车送抵各小景点。
开放时间：夏季8:00—18:00.冬季：8:30—17:30
私家车停车费，小车：10元一次；大车：20元一次。
水磨沟位于秦巴南麓、川陕结合部，平均海拔1400米，森林覆盖率74%，幅员面积78平方公里，属省级自然护区、国家AAA级旅游景区。
溶洞、峰丛、峡谷、石崖、草甸、瀑布以及青猴、大鲵等珍稀动物遍布水磨沟景区，形成神奇秀美的自然景观，素有“小九寨”、“秦蜀桃源”之美誉。
水磨沟主要景点有马尾瀑、滴水岩、贵妃草甸、翡翠峡、月亮峡、石笋峰、青龙洞等，是春踏青、夏避暑、秋品果、冬滑雪的探险养生、休闲度假、野营探险的绝佳旅游胜地。
水磨沟核心区人口稀少，大部分为无人区，保持原始生境，生态环境优良，空气质量好，距陕西省宁强县汉江源头不远。
不像黄果树瀑布那样恢宏，不如庐山瀑布那样险峻，也没有壶口瀑布的大气势，水磨沟的小瀑流却有着自己的小清新，有着自己的独有特色！
历经“千难万险”终于看到了各式各样的瀑流，透过山林的寂静我听见了瀑布的哗哗声，仿佛是一个个醉酒的诗人在低空中吟诗，不停在山谷中回响。这‘哗哗’声渐近渐响，最后化作了阵阵震耳欲聋的小乐章，在谷底震荡着，奏响着。
瀑布流下的水，在阳光的照耀下好像是颗颗闪亮的珍珠，在瀑布下方汇成了一个潭，满出的水欢快地向远处流去。如烟如雾的水丝飘在我们的脸上，脖子里，凉爽至极。
瀑布从高山上泻下来，激起一片水雾，朦朦胧胧之间，隐约看见青山与绿苔间夹杂着洁白的瀑布，耳边是那清脆的水流声，好像是水精灵在唱歌，这里仿佛仙境！
抬头望望，天空在瀑布的映衬下是那样的蓝，那么惬意、那么凉爽！
