This store is divided into two. One is all about chocolates - all different types of flavors and forms. They have some already packed but you mostly walk around with a bag and fill it with your favorites. Price depends on weight. The other store is mostly candy and licorice. They have very many different options to choose from. Hard candy, soft candy, hard licorice, soft licorice, mild and strong licorice. If you're in luck, you'll be able to see how they make some of their candy. Their truffles are superb! If you're in the area, you must visit this quaint little candy and chocolate "factory".

Very interesting and well done. This a great place to take the kids. It is located directly on the lovely four miles of sandy beach. There are No extra beach taxes as in some of the other German Baltic resorts. The lovely Standkorbs (Beach baskets) large covered wicker chairs, are not expensive and make the day at the beach a comfortable experience. The quaint main shopping street is just a block away and the busy harbor make Eckernförde a great place to be.

Deep into the north German woods you can find not only zip-lining, but wobbly Bridges, balance beams, climbing walls and many other obstacles. They offered an English speaking guide who was fully able to explain all of the safety equipment and different levels of obstacles.
