This place is so WONDERFUL! Dawn showed us all the Clydesdales as well as the Donkeys, Miniature Horses and Fainting Goats ????! Best of all was getting to see the foal that was only hours old and her beautiful Mom! I even got to brush down a horse! I highly recommend and definitely will be back!

La Porte County Historical Society Museum

I visited a year ago but I have always wanted to tell of the great experience and the rich finds you will see in this museum. There is something to interest everyone if you are truly interested in pieces of history, this is a goldmine. 3 floors of eye candy of years gone by. The large collection of Indiana made early cars and others, all in excellent condition, this alone is worth the small price of admission. Check out the Delorean used in the Back to the Future movie and one of the few surviving Tucker automobiles this one used in the Jeff Bridges movie Tucker. Great gun collection and to top off you will explore a very dark murderess who for their money murdered and disposed of her male victims bodies along with possible children placed in her care. Where else can you get so much in one place?
