Easy climb to the top with greenery all along the way. Good view of the ocean with many photo spots. Can imagine the grandeur of the castle in its heyday.

Kafu Banta

This was one of the highlights of our trip and definitely worth the drive there. Park at the Salt Factory, and from the carpark, there was a sign indicating a viewpoint with a great scenery. Just walk up a few steps and the view is indeed spectacular. The cool windy weather and the few tourists added to the enjoyment. After watching the sunset at Kafu Banta, we went to the Salt Factory where there were a few displays on how salt was obtained, and where there were nice clean toilets.

Cave Okinawa

Stumbled upon this place while driving across Okinawa so thought I would stop and take a look. Really beautiful cave with a walkway from one end to the other. Its about a 15 min walk to the cave entrance from the carpark where you get your ticket and the whole walk takes probably about 45mins to 1 hour. I was actually the only visitor although I passed some people arriving as i walked back. Lovely rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites...

Kaichu Road

The road is only maritime road connecting Katsuren Peninsula and Henza Island. Because it is a straight road over 5km, the seascapes from this road is very wonderful! I recommend you to stop your car at the roadside station and taking a walk around there. At the time of the ebb, you can get down on the sand. The ripple of sand made by the flow of the sea is so beautiful. Walking in the place without garbage will clean your mind. If you visit Uruma City, it is one of the places I recommend you to visit!
