The Aurora Historical Society was founded in 1963 and dedicates itself to the preservation of Aurora’s heritage. A non-profit governed by a volunteer Board, the Society proudly owns and operates Hillary House National Historic Site. Built in 1862, Hillary House was used as a doctor's practice and family residence for over 100 years and is one of the best examples of Gothic Revival architecture in Canada. Come and see it.

The Hillary House and Homestead with it’s medical museum is located on the West side of Yonge street North of Wellington and is a National Historical site! It is a must for the spesker’s monthly serie and at Christmas with Santa and other events! Make sure to come and discover it!

The Aurora Cultural Centre is a place to inspire, engage and be transformed through the arts. Located in a beautifully-restored 1886 schoolhouse, this accessible space is home to four galleries with rotating exhibits throughout the year, a lively professional concert series, educational arts classes for children youth and adults, special events and summer arts camps. A beautiful rental facility for your next meeting or event. Entrance to the galleries is at no charge during gallery hours. Other events including concerts and special events have a ticketing fee. From the outside Labyrinth Escape Games might deter you from coming but once you go inside Labyrinth's rooms take you to another world. Labyrinth Escape Games was easily the best escape room experience I've ever had. Friendly staff and extremely well done rooms. (I completed Dreadnaught and the Labyrinth along with friends). Known for having doors least where you expect, Labyrinth Escape games will surprise you every step of the way. The puzzles are not just lock combinations and incorporate different ways of solving problems using technology. "The Labyrinth" is their best room, the theming of the room is unbelievable and really brings you into the theme/video game world. Solely using technology it is a one of a kind room. I recommend you do this room last out of the 4 they have right now if you are looking into doing all of them as it is a totally transformative experience and a great way to cap the culmination off. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A ONE NIGHT EXPERIENCE I RECOMMEND YOU DO THE LABYRINTH as it truly is one of a kind experience. After doing the labyrinth my friends and I were extremely compelled to complete another room they had to offer. Dreadnaught met my high expectations after completing the labyrinth first, staying strong with the room theming and creative puzzles I was extremely pleased with the room. Will definitely return to complete the next rooms and the new one coming out in JULY!
