We (4 adults including 3 photographers) had planned 2 days touring with Sandwich Harbour Offroad, a day in the Namib Desert & a trip to Sandwich Harbour. Unfortunately, weather delayed our cruise ship by a day, so we only had less than 1 full day to explore around Walvis Bay/Swakopmund. Michael Green was wonderfully accommodating to customize our itinerary & our driver/guide, Leon, was a treasure! They created a custom combo so we were able to drive to Sandwich Harbour & cruise the dunes overlooking the Atlantic in the morning, then get a brief sample of the Namib Desert & Swakopmund in the afternoon. On top of a dune we were treated to a variety of homemade local foods plus sparkling wine & beer-all tasty & beautifully served on white linen! We were thrilled to see flamingoes, seals, jackals, ostrich & a snake eagle. I highly recommend Sandwich Harbour Offroad - Thanks Michael & Leon!
