The Raft has a unique location, and is arguably one of the best in Namibia. Built on stilts in the Walvis Bay lagoon, you will be entertained while enjoying lunch, dinner or a relaxing drink in the bar, by seals, dolphins, flamingos, pelicans, jackals and also the acrobatic antics of the kite Surfing fraternity on windy days. The Raft is also widely regarded as the very best location for experiencing outstanding sunsets.

after a morning on Pelican Point, it was a relief to enter this lovely rustic restaurant on stilts on the lagoon surrounded by terns, flamingoes pelicans etc.. the service was great and friendly - we eat a kudu fillet which was tender and tasty. A great place to cool down, relax and spend some time soaking in the atmosphere.

We ate at Anchors twice and had the oysters grilled with cheese, (not a good choice) special surf and turf along with the calamari (grilled and fried). The portions are generous and unsophisticated and its a nice place on a hot day. There are only two toilets and the restaurant seats about 60.

Decent place, but not exceptional. They "specialize" in pizza, but there are better places in town if that's what you want. It's more of a local hangout and the positive reviews likely come from those who don't venture too far from Walvis Bay. :)
The beer is cold and cheap, so that's a plus.

I must say that this place is a nice, modern and clean restaurant, with good food. The staff are fantastic, and food comes freshly made, and at a good speed. As to the price, it is very fair in my opinion… so yes, it has (in my opinion) everything to be a success… as long as they keep up the standards and the fair pricing.
I must also add that the coffee is fantastic. I would say that it is probably the best coffee I have had in Walvis Bay over the years that I have been travelling to this place.

Even while walking in there it was clear that the place has an excellent atmosphere - relaxed, warm and welcoming. The staff assisted us with a smile and both the food and the coffee arrived within only a few minutes.

This gem looks even better than the photo's. Struggled to find a restaurant that meets the expectation of the photos provided. Most places were a great disappointment as it was worn off and struggled to give the feel that was expected.
But this place is absolutely superb! Great food at a very reasonable price and friendly staff. Love the arty and chilled vibe of this place. Highly recommended!!

I visited this place on invitation, so I had no part in the choice of restaurant.
The general feeling when you enter, is that this is a brothel with a bar, hiding behind a façade of a steakhouse. The waitresses fit in perfectly with this theme and I got the feeling that they get some of their clients' in this way. The other clients look like visiting seamen, so they will probably find this place to their liking, especially as this Steak House is in the general vicinity of the harbour.
All our steak, however, was of very good quality, mature, succulent and done as ordered. The best steak in Walvis Bay. It all depends on your needs.

We stayed in a 4 bedroom chalet (six adults). They are newly built and very comfortable with everything needed, including towels. We also had one lockup garage. The security is very good. Although we did not use it, there is a restaurant and coffee-shop on the premises. Being a keen fisherman, this is very ideal for fishermen.

I spent a week in the establishment ....spent many nights in the disco wit friends after a great meal prepared by the Chinese chef...the food was great tasty and the service fast..with regards to the ambiance..it was typical Chinese very casual, & relaxed

I've ordered a take away sushi on the phone. The lady was very nice & helpful. They texted me to confirm my order and collection time & I didn't have to wait long for the food. Great service. Will definitely come back for more. It was delicious.
