In the park, a riverbed of Hanaze river is like a beautiful stone pavement made of Welded tuff. Its area is width 60m and length 2km. In spring season, this park is famous for cherry blossoms and wisteria flowers. In Aug, a music concert is taken place. In the Edo period, the governor of Kagoshima also had often visited here. In 1977, this Hanaze park has been registered as natural reserved park.
