The Lakeside at Thorburn

At The Lakeside we are all about play. Those who like speed will love driving go-karts, snow mobiling or tube riding and water skiing. Younger children will enjoy the playground, mini golf and land train. Those who prfer a leisurely pace may lounge on the sandy beach, or explore the lake in a canoe, kayak, or pedal boat. The resort’s two enclosed pools ensure a day of fun can’t get rained out.

We were a party of 8 (4 couples) travelling the T'railway trail...we stopped here to camp for the night. The staff was amazing they were very friendly with a great sense of humor. We forgot towels and they lent us some, the dryer stopped working so the owners dried our clothes in there personal dryer. The park is beautiful, equipped with showers, washers and dryers, a heated pool, hot tub, petting zoo and much more. I would highly recommend this campground especially if you have children, there is so much for them to do. Thanks again to the staff at lakeside, you guys are amazing!
