Carenage

Busy harbor in St. George.

Reviewed By susied940

It's a harbour in the middle of town and very pretty and photo-worthy, but it is also a main thoroughfare. So while looking out onto the sea and admiring the boats and yachts is brilliant the road can get busy. Shops, bars and restaurants are easy to find and its definitely worth stopping to chill and enjoy the view. We had a roti and rum punch at The Nutmeg restaurant - an old favourite - before going out on a catamaran.

Yacht basin, marina and commercial port, the lagoon is actually the submerged crater of an ancient volcano.
