Best place to stay on Brava
Reviewed By 393libbymWe came for 2 days and stayed for 2 weeks. Room no 7 had good view over to the mountains. Large place with lots of outside space and terrace. Mario ( the owner) very helpful and speaks every language and serves good large breakfast. Lots of local information available. Room is very good size and well equipped, sheets and towels changed regularly. Highly recommend this hotel. Very good location for the town.

Villa Vicente is set in the biggest town on the island of Brava. Less then a 5 minute walk to the town square, the museum, local shopping and sight seeing. Our home was built in the early 1930's and renovated several times over the years.We provide 4 large bedrooms with private bathrooms, each with either garden or mountain views. Each with one queen and one twin sized bed and a private bathroom.

Quiet, comfortable, clean, good breakfast
Reviewed By Martin_in_PimlicoDefinitely recommended. It's an offshoot of the Cruz Grand hotel, at the other end of town. There is no office at Hotel Pousada, so I had to walk to the Cruz Grand to pay. However, that aside, Hotel Pousada was excellent. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Very amenable to an early breakfast (0615) in comfortable time before the Fast Ferry. Organised the transfers well. Very conveniently located just a couple of streets back from the main square.

Reviewed By Martin BSchönes altes Hotel mit großen Räumen und teilweise mit Balkon. Sanitäre Ausstattung ist teilweise reparaturbedürftig. Frühstück mit Ausblick eher sparsam, hat am Tag der frühen Abreise eher nur teilweise funktioniert, obwohl die fast tägliche Morgenfähre nach Fogo zum Standardprogramm gehören sollte. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels nicht optimal.

Reasonable hotel at a reasonable price
Reviewed By christineg973Stayed here for three nights on an island hoping trip in Cape Verde. We arrived late at night and we were grateful for the vehicle they sent to pick us up and for taking us to a restaurant that was still open at 10.00p.m. Our hotel was nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Breakfast was fine. The staff were really helpful.
