Nostos is a 19th-century listed building situated in the centre of the main town in Kythira, near the Venetian Castle. It offers a traditional café and rooms with handpicked antique furnishings. The air-conditioned accommodation in Nostos Guesthouse includes traditional features, such as dark-wood furniture, 4-poster iron beds and wooden floors. Each room comes with an LCD satellite TV, a hairdryer and a safe. More facilities include a fridge, free WiFi and phone. Zefyros (our superior room) offers a big terrace with views to the sea and the village. Homemade breakfast with local delicacies is served daily in the warm setting of the café. Drinks and coffees are also served throughout the day. Nostos is 2 km away from the beach of Kapsali. The scenic village of Livadi is within a 5-minute drive. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi access in its public areas, while free parking is possible nearby.
A very good choice for accomodation
Reviewed By chryer74This is a very good choice for accomodation at Kythira. A boutique hotel with a handful of good size, well decorated rooms. The only drawback is the breakfast which is very average and in my opinion should include more options.

Reviewed By VIZANDIOSWelcome with a box of sweet Greek loukoumia, stunning service and the host (Litsa) makes you feel right at home. Spotless rooms and great views of Kapsali area and the balcony is right next to the castle. Right by the action of Chora beautiful street with shopping cafes and restaurants is guarantee to give you a stay of excitement. Kythira is an island that offers everything. We strongly recommend it . JUST GO!!

The Flower of Avlemonas
Reviewed By roughtorThe great thing about life is that sometimes, out of nowhere, you can strike gold. And that is exactly what we did when booking our stay here. The village is gorgeous, flowers blooming everywhere against the traditional white with blue trim buildings. Half a dozen places to eat & drink. And boy can you eat, traditional salads & seafood to die for. Whilst you're eating you'll see half a dozen little fishing boats making their way back in (or back out), you can pick your own fish in the restaurant dead centre of the village & have it cooked to perfection, it's a family run business & I'd happily eat there every day for the rest of my life. But then we had a fish soup in a place just down the road which I know is the best I've every had, hands down, every place has it's speciality. Spend a night at Alex's & be fed the greatest pizza whilst sitting above the little cove with unbelievable clear turquoise waters, you won't regret it. There's chocolate pie in a little bar right down on the harbour which is something I'll never forget, awesome little gem of a bar with good sounds and vibes a must to visit and quench your thirst. The studio we stayed in was perfect for us. Spacious, spotless, everything we needed was there and worked. View of the sea from the balcony, we couldn't ask for more. But if we were to, the owner Andreanna would certainly do all she could to oblige. She is the Flower of Avlemonas & we couldn't have wished for a better host. I couldn't recommend this place enough, perfect.
