Have just had the tour and sampling at the Great Yeldham site. Excellent afternoon of information about the manufacture of vodka, gin, rum, and then a great time tasting/ sampling and of course buying!

Went to the Cambridge Distillery for the first time a couple of weeks ago and thought it was amazing! The inside of the Showroom itself was outstanding, you can really tell a lot of effort and planning went into creating such an open and well presented space. We were greated by a lovely team who gave a wonderful explanation of each of their gins, to our delight we found out you can also have tea and coffee as well as trying the beautiful gins (obviously the gin is more fun!!). To top it off we met the Distillery dog Darcy who is the star of the show. Can highly reccommend if you are a lover of gin and dogs!! 10/10

Cambridge Distillery

Welcome to the Cambridge Distillery: once the UK’s smallest official gin producers, located in our co-founders’ sitting room – now an internationally-recognised multi-award-winning business, named three consecutive times as the most innovative distillery in the world. Our Distillery was founded when owners William and Lucy Lowe were walking their much-loved labrador, Darcy, in the fields surrounding their home in Cambridge – and decided to establish their own gin distillery, led by innovation and the pursuit of excellence.

My daughter (with 2 month old baby) & I visited the distillery last weekend and had a wonderful experience courtesy of lovely Leah who gave us a superb history of gin - and explanation of the distillery itself. We had a tasting session in very relaxed surroundings and left quite happily with a reasonable quota of gin! Thank you, Leah!
