The Devil 's Passage

Reviewed By B4227ZZdavidk - Zagreb, Croatia

Another hidden gem of natural beauty in Croatia. Peace and adventure in one. a beautiful circular hiking trail with lots of interesting sights and views. The murmur of the stream relaxes and adds another atmosphere in the Devil's Passage. Muževa hižica cave is passable with lamps, I definitely recommend entering with caution against slipping. Definitely to recommend a tour of the cave, the Devil's Pass and the Green Pool

Omis Cetina Canyon

Reviewed By BobandJosie - Reading, United Kingdom

As part of our excursion from a small cruise ship a party of about 24 of us all managed with a little bit of difficulty to embark into a small wooden boat equipped with an outboard motor the boatman in charge looking no more than a teenager. We then set off for a leisurely boat trip along the canyon past magnificent scenery. Very worthwhile doing.

If you like green and untouched nature, Kamacnik is great for you, suitable for family visit, dogs.Peaceful sound of water all the way.Recommending proper hiking shoes, there are a bit of rocks or mud in some parts of the path, the path is also quite narrow on some places. Several nice wooden bridges, not too long walk in distance, up to 1 hour in one direction. Recommending strudle in bistro at the entrance. Excellent taste. Entrance to the canyon only 20 HRK.

Cikola River Canyon

The site of the Cikola Canyon was protected in 1965. The Cikola River is the largest tributary of the Krka River. It springs near the village Cavoglava, flows through the town of Drnis and drains into the Krka River near Torak Lake. This area stands out due to the very deep canyon which is an extraordinary geomorphological phenomenon, and the locality is exceptionally important as a hydrological phenomenon in the karst landscape. The canyon is up to 170 m deep in places.
