The boat and gift shop at Cromford Wharf are run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Birdswood runs scheduled public trips from March to October. Additionally we operate theme events, school trips and exclusive charters, making the boat an ideal private venue for functions for up to 40 people. We have 10 little motor boats sitting on the boating lake within the historic victorian 'Hall Leys Park'. We also have a small diesel engine 'Little David' who travels up a short track before returning. Great for adults and children alike. Much loved attraction which has been here since the 1930's
