Took my family paddle boarding. The beach is perfect for any weekend paddle boarders like us and the hire shop helped loads with my hire purchase as well as a gave few tips on where best to go. Really good experience and my children loved the calm waters.

Visit via the national trust grounds. Its really a wonderful little village with fascinating building a lots of information on residents. Wonderfull views across the river and a quiet place to sit and contemplate. Coffe with the National Trust volunteers who are very welcoming and knowledgeable was a bonus.

Gyllyngvase Beach

We enjoyed spending some of our holiday time on this beautifully kept beach, Although most of it is quiet coarse sand, at low tide soft sand makes for lovely swimming. The backdrop of exotic Queen Mary's Gardens adds to its charm.

We revisited this December and it bought back many happy memories, we particularly enjoyed the coastal path from the beach to Mylor Harbour.
