Masia Freixa

The Masia Freixa is a building inspired by Gaudi and built by architect Lluis Muncunill i Parellada between 1905 and 1910. It is built on the structure of an old textile mill owned by industrialist Josep Freixa, who later converted it into his family residence. Of interest are the rounded cross-sections and the use of the parabolic arch, which make the building one of the treasures of the city’s Modernist Heritage. The City Council bought the farm in 1959 and its gardens became the city’s first public park. Located right in the middle of the Parc Sant Jordi, at present it is home to city council offices and the Tourist Office.

Pamplona Tourist Office

Reviewed By AndrewF31_KA - Manresa, Spain

Recently the tourist office now organizes guided tours around the old town or the old city walls. We did the one in Spanish “Pamplona al completo”. Adults costs 9 euros each, plus getting the Pamplona tourism card for 1€, while our 7 year old was for free. The tour guide, Ana, clearly showed her love of the job and of the city, providing so much insightly knowledge on the city, the 3 buroughs and the San Fermin festival. We went along the San Fermin route then up to the Navarra archives, followed by the French gate, the Redin, the Cathedral (right after the “Get out if you can” street), finishing up in the Plaza del Castillo. Well worth the 2 hour walk through town. You’ll find information and maps of the city and region in the tourist office, mostly for free. Very helpful.

Welcome to the Girona Tourist Office! Visit us and know the best way to visit Girona and its surroundings

Reviewed By macedonboy - Glasgow, United Kingdom

Visited this information centre just to get help with a one day Girona itinerary and also the best parts of the old city walls to visit and which of those would be the least crowded. They also have maps and advices for day trips from Girona, which is useful. They also have an art/photography exhibition if you find yourself kicking your heels. The service is efficient and friendly, so can't ask for more than that.
