Enjoy one of the two boat tours offered by the Tourist Office of Châlons-en-Champagne. L'Eau'dyssée, the daily boat tour, the unmissable ! Visiting Chalons-en-Champagne nicknamed the “Sparkling Venice”, is primarily enjoying its numerous waterways. The unavoidable boat ride will take you in the historical heart, in the gardens and below the city. A unique guided tour by our local captains sometimes accompanied by their personal assistants, the majestic white swans. By night, Métamorph'eau'ses, board for a unique show between shadows and lights, itinerant on the water, unique in Europe ! All along the tour, admire sound and light shows, light projections and an anamorphosis. Buildings are sublimed like you've never seen ! See you soon in Châlons-en-Champagne !
One of the best tourist offices visited in France so far. The staff are very helpful in all Matters even those not your related. As a visitor to the town and not having French as our first language the officers were amazingly helpful. We are visiting Chalons en Champagne for some months and have found it to be a beautiful town with many things to see and do. The Christmas markets were small but lovely. The displays in the main square are fun and colourful and include the family. The architecture of the town is delightful and mixed with great restaurants and bars. The markets are brilliant with a great deal of choice for fruit and veg, not to mention a fantastic fish monger in the same location. The English gardens around the port and the beautiful gardens provide waking tracks and location for the circus and fairs. Come and visit this superb town and don’t hesitate to stop in and ask for assistance from the tourist office team. Brilliant office. Thank you

Great service and local tips, short winery tours recommended. Champagne tasting daily. The only bike rental in town, as far as I could find, and rode one of their functional, low end, mountain bikes around the Tour de France social ride course.

The Langres Tourist Office welcomes you all year round! At the gateway to Champagne and Burgundy, with its high ramparts, its imposing towers, and numerous church towers, Langres soars above the plateau like the proud fortress it is. History has spared the 3.5 km long ramparts that encircle the town. Stroll along them, and enjoy the magnificent views: to the east, the land rises gradually from the Lac de la Liez and the Marne valley towards the Vosges. And if you're lucky, on a clear day you can sometimes see as far as the Bernese Alps. To the west, beyond the lush Bonnelle valley, is the Langres plateau with its hedges and wooded hillsides.
