Burlington Public Library

Explore – Discover – Learn! That’s what Burlington Public Library is all about. The Library belongs to everyone in the community and is free to join if you live, work, or go to school in Burlington. Central branch is the largest location and houses historical and special collections, children's discovery play area, a community makerspace, computer lab, and an indoor aquaponics garden - plus 3 floors of books, movies, music and more. There are seven library branches citywide: six full-service branches (Aldershot, Alton, Brant Hills, Central, New Appleby, Tansley Woods) and a small lending collection serving the rural hamlet of Kilbride. Library service began in Burlington in January 1872.

A wonderful place to spend a pleasant hour or so choosing books reading newspapers and magazines, accessing information on the many computers which the library has on hand for its clients and many many more services they offer. The staff is always at hand to help.

Woodstock Public Library

My son and I had our first visit to the Woodstock public library last night. The employees there were helpful, informative, and they really engaged with my son. I really appreciated this, because even though he is shy- he's at the perfect age to start getting him really excited about reading. He was able to get his own library card, and he was also so excited to hear that you can also borrow video games. We were made to feel very welcome, and are both looking forward to our next visit.

This beautiful building contains a dramatic interior complete with pool and waterfall.

This library might be one of the best in the Toronto Public Library system. It holds awesome events, including the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF), is the location of the Arthur Conan Doyle special collections (a must see for Sherlock Holmes fans), has hard working staff, and is visually stunning. Plus several film shoots and weddings have happened here!
