Very worthwhile visit as the rope way takes you up the mountain to the top,of the botanical gardens and you can easily walk back down enjoying the beautiful gardens and tea room etc.

Take the Cable CAR up for About 4-5 minutes and You get a great view over Kobe and Osaka. All over Osaka bay You Can even see the AirPort. Cable CAR is very clean. On top of mount Rocco there is a small café and You Can walk around for a while Before descending. You Shouf be able to walk Some satire while visiting to reach platform and viewpoint!

This is a hop on - hop off service - the whole trip lasts just over an hour and at 690 Yen is far cheaper than similar tourist services in Europe. You can buy the tickets on the bus and we never had to wait for more than ten minutes at any of the stops. It gets you to see most of the city's main sights - ok for traveller just spending a day here. But there is far more to see. Just one comment - we were lucky to get the last bus from Kobe Shin station which left an hour before the announced closing time.
