First used the service from Llanbedrog to Llangian a small village outside Abersoch and it was door to door service bit like a taxi but for only £2 each - bargain. Then the following day when we were walking from a beach back to Llanengan we just happened to pick the bus up. First class service all round

Pwllheli Railway Station

I started coming to Abersoch in 1957-now 62 years later the importance of this railway station has grown due to It’s links to the midlands and the south of England as well as the delightful journey around the coast to Aberdovey and beyond Even you can add the link to Portmadog home of two local train operators- the Welsh Highland railway and the Ffestiniog railway These different lines give rise to marvellous scenic journeys very distinctive to North Wales Pleasant staff add to the enjoyment Of course don’t forget Buffers before your train departs ....hot coffee / breakfasts and a large variety for food on the go Enjoy C

It was a glorious hot day. We travelled on the breakfast trail, the early bird. It was a wonderful day, a lovely trip, the scenery was breath-taking, and the train just wonderful to ride on. It was not a cheap day out, but the experience was well worth it.
