Entebbe is a major town in Central Uganda. On a Lake Victoria peninsula, approximately 37 kilometres (23 mi) southwest of the Ugandan capital, Kampala, it was once the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda prior to independence, in 1962. Entebbe is the location of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda's largest commercial and military airport, best known for the dramatic rescue of 100 hostages kidnapped by the resistance group of the PFLP-EO and Revolutionary Cells (RZ) organizations. Entebbe is also the location of State House, the official office and residence of the President of Uganda.

The company helped us to get Gorilla Permit while we were in Europe. We had Jeff as a driver. He's very fluent in English, drivers well and very discret guy. He always make the car clean every day before our long journey of road. The car was great as well. The seats were very confortable and you can lean them...You can sleep! Definetly, the best choice for hiring car (and driver). Cheers from Belgium.

My Daughter and I rented a Rav4 from Self Drive in Uganda -- it was perfect!!! Dennis at Self Drive in Uganda made all of the arrangements for us, had the car ready for us and met us at the Uganda Wildlife Authority with the car ready to go. More importantly, Dennis set us up with Kenny - the greatest Guide/Driver in all of Uganda!!! Kenny asked how much time we had and what we wanted to see. Then he helped create our itinerary, set us up with AMAZING lodging, called ahead to get our rooms, and - used his guide friend connections to make sure we saw were at the right place and time to see wonderful wildlife viewing - Hippos, Crocs, Baboons, Elephants, Giraffes, Antelope, Water Buffalo, Gazelle, Chimpanzees, Monkeys, and of course - the majestic spectacular Mountain Gorillas!!! Kenny was so proud to show us his Beautiful Uganda -- simply fantastic!!! Thank you Kenny and Dennis for giving us a wonderful Uganda Adventure Safari and lifelong memories!!! Webulé!!!
