Enjoy this tour, which will enable you to explore the nature and culture of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in a single day. You will be exploring the villages, mountains, rivers and waterfalls of this park, which has a kind of scenery which is hard to find anywhere else. Beside the landscapes, fauna and flora and the numerous wild rivers which form some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Portugal, it has a rich culture, history and heritage. Its monuments go back to the time before the birth of the nation, its villages still retain their peculiar culture and traditions, and villagers still live as their ancestors did.

Anyone who loves wine will absolutely love the Douro Valley and wine tour and the services from Oporto Sensations Tour are extraordinary. In Porto you'll be picked up at your hotel or apartment and learn all about the region as you are chauffeured to the Douro Valley. Our guide, Pedro, was incredibly knowledgeable in the region and was a joy to converse with over a lunch that was included in the very reasonable price, followed by a one hour boat tour of the valley also included. Two wineries are visited and the tours were very enjoyable and there is no pressure to purchase anything even after a few wine tastings. This is a family owned business and you'll definitely feel the personal attention which you never receive with the big commercial company tours. They offer other tours as well and this is now my go to tour operator in Porto

We had a fabulous trip to the Peneda-Geres National Park with our guide, Bruno. We were picked up in Porto and had a nice drive to the park with Bruno laying the foundation for our visit. From there we had a wonderful hike above a reservoir, a lunch at a family run restaurant in a small centuries-old village, and another hike from the village to a waterfall, complete with an escort of goats returning to the village from the mountainside at the end of the day. We finished with a sunset in the mountains and a pleasant drive back to Porto, Bruno was informative, engaging, and personable. A great guide for a great trip. Highly recommended.

Our tour is arranged adhoc with very short notice but the company is so accomodating. Pascal is our tour guide, he is sooooo humorous (never had a boring moment) yet so knowledgeable on everything about Porto (and Portugal) from history to architecture, telling us special details around those heritages and observations. It is like a happy discovery journey. Various activities like wine tasting and boat cruise were great that adds to the tour. We also had our 2 80+ years old moms joining us in this trip. Pascal has been very attentive taking extra care to ensure the arrangement works well for them and in the most comfy and safe way. He was so sweet to get our moms a bag of hot chestnuts when it was windy and chill out there visiting the coast of Atlantic ocean, which made it especially yummy and warm. 5 stars, absolutely recommended for the great personal experience.

My wife and I booked an all-day private tour of the Alto Minho region of Portugal with Brand Tours and couldn't have imagined a better experience. Not only did Xavier and Rui bring us to magical places, but they were so well-versed in the history of the region, and that knowledge made our day so much more interesting and meaningful. We visited ancient villages and saw old corn storage units from the 1700s that are still in use today; we explored old forts and climbed towers with spectacular views; we ate lunch in a small place where the locals eat and sampled the local fare including delicious sausages and a special wine. The proprietor even gave me the drinking glass I admired! Rui and Xavier literally went the extra mile to bring us to the top of a mountain in a national park where we looked into the valley and marveled at the beautiful views. During the course of the day, we discovered all we had in common and ended up as friends by the time we were dropped off in the evening. It was a perfect day with perfectly professional and friendly guides. I highly recommend Brand Tours for the tour of a lifetime!

Explore the mountains in a small group setting, hiking through centuries old paths that cut through luxuriant woods and reaching the best viewpoints for fantastic views. We booked a paragliding tour in August. Rita sent us the bank details and we paid 200 euros for two paragliding flights (that only lasted 5 minutes per person due to the fact that we had to wait 2 hours even though we had an appointment at 5 or 5.30 pm), a set of photographs and snacks. Even though we were satisfied with the overall experience we felt that the price was way too high for merely two 5 minutes rides, when others were in the air for almost 20 minutes. We understand that weather is a factor and not every ride can last 20 minutes but we are outraged that we didn’t get the pictures we paid for. Rita took photographs and assured us we would get them by email in a reasonable time. We sent various emails: - 1st one on August 24th to merely ask when we would the pictures - 2nd one on September 30th (we got a reply on October 2nd and Rita told us there was a delay and we would the pictures as soon as possible) - 3rd one on December 2nd (we got no reply) Almost 6 months later and we still didn’t get the pictures we paid for. Overall we are very much dissatisfied with the experience. If we had known we would have booked another tour with more professional guides and we would have gladly paid a bit more to get a better experience. Bruno

José-Adriano is a fantastic tour guide and the pace of the entire outing was perfect. The van was comfortable and our group of 8 chatted gaily in several languages, with José-Adriano deftly translating. The wine cellar, bakery, scenic views, boat ride, and lunch restaurant were wisely chosen by José-Adriano for a throughly enjoyable experience. We plan to do another tour with him!
