We went for a tour on a beautiful sunny day. Me and my Dad got gift certificates for Christmas and saved them until spring. It was an amazing trip. A reminder of how lucky we are to live in this great place.

We really had a great afternoon on the ocean. We saw two humpback whales, they didn’t want to stop dancing in the water, like on a catwalk. Finally a group of dolphins of maybe 25-50 animals. Many thanks to our captain Josh who answered all our questions in detail due his excellent knowledge. It was a great pleasure for us and highly recommended.

Boat is good-- and only recommendation might be a speaker on the outside deck to hear some of his comments as you are standing on outside deck Great trip --

A great day on the water, with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide! Our group was in town for a training camp and we needed an activity to blow off some steam and this was it. We booked a private tour so it was just our group. The booking agent was super accommodating and helped us book the right tour for our group. The guide was fun and knowledgeable of the different species we were looking for (and found!) but also of the area. We all learned something. Also, what we really liked was that there is a carbon-neutral program that helps offset the tour's carbon footprint.

What an incredible experience!!! My girlfriend had mentioned wanting to do the glacier tour as a bucket list idea for a while, so naturally it was a perfect setting to propose to her. Hannah was our pilot and I can't praise her enough for going above and beyond to make an incredible experience that much better! The tour itself is worth every penny and we're already planning on doing it again in the future! Thanks 49 North!!

Labor Day weekend saw eight of us exploring five of the wrecks in the beautiful waters off Courtney and Campbell River. Bill Coltart from Big Animal Encounters was a superb host and Trish is rapidly getting her legs as a first class boat Captain. Pacific Seeker and Atta-Tude are great dive boats with room for all our gear and indoor comfort for those surface intervals. The diving was superb as expected, but BAE know their stuff. Humpback whales during one surface interval, a superb lunch at Lund Landing on another. They make a good weekend a great weekend. Not a diver? No worries BAE will show you the west coast waters of BC as you have never seen it before.
