Really enjoyed the boat ride and the sunset was beautiful while we sipped wine. The meeting point was central and they kindly waited 5 mins for us as we got stuck in traffic coming back from the beach. The tour was in English too which was helpful. We were served wine Red /White. Music was played in the background and we got to see the main historical points in Lisbon.

Did you know that Lisbon is even more beautiful when seen from the Tagus River south bank? Experience Lisbon from a different perspective, from the river level to the 133 meter-high (436 ft) Sanctuary of Christ the King. The Tagus river crossing is on Lisbon’s iconic boat, the Cacilheiro. On the south bank, we ride our electric bikes along the river, at our own pace, surrounded by tranquility. The Sanctuary of Christ the King or “Cristo Rei” is high above us, but with electric bikes we don’t even feel the steepness. Our first stop is at Casa da Cerca – Center for Contemporary Art, for coffee and a visit to the house and its beautiful garden. When in the Sanctuary, the view becomes even more amazing, with the huge Tagus River, the bridges, the colorful houses, the green Monsanto Forest and much more. You would want to lose yourself in the landscape. The return is downhill, yet with a stop at the pleasant pedestrian street Cândido dos Reis. The ferry awaits us back to Lisbon.

Inclusions: Professional guide, Bosch e-bike drive system, Helmet, Bottle of water, Boat ticket, Liability and personal accident insurance, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) - Mask and Desinfectant gel

Exclusions: Transfers to and from the meeting point, Elevator ticket, Coffee at Casa da Cerca

We invite you to join us on a tour along the Tagus River. Come and visit Lisbon in a different way, be amazed by it’s colours, the way they spread over the hills and touch the river. We will sail from the Doca de Santo Amaro (Santo Amaro Dock under the bridge), to the Praça do Comércio, one of the most beautiful plazas in the word. From there we can see the old neighborhoods of Lisbon: Chiado, Baixa, Castelo and Alfama. Then it’s time to cross to Cacilhas on the other side of the river to get the widest possible view of the city. Sail close to the Cristo Rei on the south bank, cross under the bridge and sail to Belém to see its tower. On the way back you will see how the people of Lisbon love to walk, sit and chat by the side of the river; usually the banks are full of people enjoying the sun, the river and boats passing by. You will have plenty of time to take amazing pictures of the city and of this incredible experience.

Inclusions: White and rosé wine, cheese and charcuterie, Bottled water

Although the weather was not on our side, I really enjoyed this sunset cruise! When I decided to book a sailboat cruise on the Tagus, I struggled to find any tours still operating, especially on New Year's Eve. Luckily I saw one of the Tagus Cruises ships on the river in Belem and searched for them online. The booking was easy, we were six people in total. The skipper was very friendly and told me a lot of cool sailing stories while also explaining how the boat worked! We had a complimentary drink and although it rained for a bit, we saw a rainbow at the end and that made it all worth it. Highly recommended!

This is culture and food, fun and informative. We will be sailing, swimming, eating, discovering a new Lisbon and connect with amazing locals! Our boat will cast off from Belém, a privileged area to explore some of the most famous and busy historical monuments, from the quietness of the river. It's an opportunity to relax and see Lisbon from a unique perspective, but also to learn about some historical facts, curiosities namely the old stores where Porto wine and dried codfish was kept, lots of street art and secret restaurants. We will then search for a quiet place to anchor, to have a swim! If we are lucky, we will see dolphins, 'tho we can promise it! We will then enjoy a unique tasting created by our Chef exclusively to this trip with a unique fresh Portuguese white wine, while smoothly sailing back. Relax, enjoy the view and the sunset while we approach our final destination. * Excelente experience for private groups. Contact us! *

Inclusions: WiFi on board, Tastings especially made by our Chef Miguel for this experience, A rare portuguese white wine, Bottled water

Me and my brother signed up for this tour as we've both been in Portugal for a few months and wanted a local's view of Lisbon. Our tour was led by Sílvia - she was born and raised in the Alfama neighbourhood right downtown. She is passionate and knowledgeable about both Lisbon's history and Portuguese cuisine. More importantly she is definitely not reading from a script - what made the day stand out for me was that the day had set stops and dishes (all excellent) but the conversation developed organically based on participants' interests and preferences. Highly recommended!
