Our guest have full access to our grounds which consist of two restaurants, two resort style pools, palapa bar, yoga shala, fire pit, tezmazcal and sound healing. Una Vida offers some of the most spacious and well-appointed accommodations in all of Tulum. We were awarded the 2017 Best Hotel Design Award for the entire Riviera Maya. We were the first non-beachfront property to ever receive this honor. We are proud to be the premiere boutique hotel in Tulum Town. We designed our spaces with sharing and families in mind. Our 1 and 2 bedroom units offer spacious detached living areas with full kitchenettes, dining rooms and lounging daybeds. All rooms have private outdoor space and first floor rooms have extra large outdoor showers and bathtubs. Villa Jacinta is our private 3-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom villa with a private dipping pool, outdoor lounge and dining area. All of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and private outdoor space.

The staff, the boutique property and the food was just perfect. We booked their jungle 3 bedroom Villa and it was perfect for our family. Would love to visit again.

Relaxing get away bungalow
Reviewed By ejk304Stayed in a lovely little bungalow with the pool right outside. A bit far from the main downtown - walking time 20 minutes - but it was very calm and quiet. If you prefer the quite, not-as-touristy-feeling then this is a great area for you. Lots of places to eat a few blocks away. The rooms were very clean and the grounds were also spotless. We had air conditioner and a communal kitchen that we could use. The only nice add would have been an in house breakfast :). Their wifi was a bit spotting. So not good for working, but perfect for internet surfing and photo uploading. Would stay again next time we are in Cozumel.

Reviewed By ammantioThe good: food is great, the restaurant serves really wonderful breakfast and dinner and creative cocktails at a very reasonable price. The location works, walking distance to shops and the beach, a dive shop and the garden area are lovely. The staff is also very helpful and accommodating. The not so good: The noise. The road noise is quite loud as there is a speed bump directly in front of the hotel that encourages drivers to hit the gas right after they go over it. The beach club across the street...awful...playing very loud, bass thumping music well past the ordinance times and levels. This was the worst part of the stay...impossible to relax on the veranda or sleep. The owners are working on buying the beach club and get constant complaints, in the mean time they do apologize and offer small discounts as a concessions to try to help, really the best they can do and I applaud them for that.

Reviewed By michelcastromKeeps getting better on each visit. We’ve seen the growth of this place since 3 years ago and it’s better on every visit, they now have 2 beautiful private cenotes and kitchen, which by the way, is a most try. I had the Aldea’s eggs and the pasta, both are delicious.

Great hotel, great beach club, will stay again
Reviewed By Mia IWe arrived into Cancun early in the morning, so before making the drive to our first destination, stopped in Puerto Morelos. We walked down to the beach and ended up at the beach club connected to the hotel. Its $300 pesos ($150 if you're staying at the hotel) for a palapa rental for an entire day - this includes 2 loungers, 2 tables, and 4 chairs. All in all, we spent 3 different days at the beach club. Antonio provided amazing service to us, and even remembered us days later! We actually needed someplace to stay from an extra night, so we booked for later in the week. And it did not disappoint. We were booked into a room on the far back left of the hotel, with a second door that opened out to the beach side. The room had 2 full beds, full bathroom, plenty of surfaces for luggage, bags, etc. It also had a mini-fridge and a safe. The hotel is very central, and we walked everywhere we wanted to go within Puerto Morelos proper. We were able to leave our car parked in the parking lot with no security concerns. There is a live music bar across the street (Lauro's) which can be heard from the hotel, but they do shut down around 11ish. So be aware if you are looking for quiet in the evening. Other than that, it was quiet, and leaving the window open, you can hear the ocean. When we come back to Cancun/Puerto Morelos, we will be booking at Gota de Sal!

Found out about it from a native who was selling freshly squeezed juices. Passivity a good place to stay if you go to los rapids, tolum & puerto Morelos.

They gave us lots of tips for things to do, how to do them, etc. The hotel itself was so beautiful: both the room and the pool area which is nice and sunny in the mornings and shaded in the afternoons. And Puerto Morelos is adorable! We loved exploring the restaurants, beach clubs, and shops that this quaint little town had to offer. And we're so glad we did it from Abbey del Sol! You really can't beat the value for the price.

a rasonable place to stay

The breakfast was not all that good ans we could not get wifi in our rooms. sometimes it was dodgy in the public area as well. The hotel was within walking distance of the beach and a 20 minute walk to the town center. I loved Holbox in general as it was very colourful with lots of murals on the walls. My room was very large and cleaned everyday - thou it ranged from barely adequate to incredibly amazing with sculptured towels one day :-). I was unsure if I was meant to eave a tip every day as the standard went down when I did not. I left a tip at the end as is generally the custom.

Reviewed By Alicia HThis place was only $25 a night. Which I loved because I'm cheap like that. I was pleasantly surprised with what we got for our money. The room slept 3 people, had a little sitting room and a kitchen with a decent size refrigerator. It was pretty clean. The only thing in question were the bed coverings. They seemed cleanish I think they just needed to replace the set because there were a few little stains but nothing too serious. They have AC units but upon arrival the room was super hot! It took a while to cool down because of the vaulted ceilings but it got pretty cold after a while. They are single level villa style with a nice clean pool. It's walled in and gated like a fortress so you definitely feel secure and safe. There is not much in walking distance of the area but we were able to drive a few blocks and found a small Mom and Pop restaurant. The streets around the area are not well maintained, there are no street lights and the streets are filled with huge potholes so be careful if you are driving your a car at night. I think this is a great hotel for an over night stay especially if you are budget conscious.
