Wonderful stay
Reviewed By FabiCorradI spent 4 days with my family (parents and boyfriend) in this wonderful hotel. Perfect location, a few steps from La Villa's shops and the nice center. The service is great and the hotel has hot a great wellness area as well, with jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. A continental breakfast is served in the restaurant and gives you energy that lasts all day. I would definitely recommend Il Camoscio :-)

fine but a bit soulless
Reviewed By AnPanLeedsStayed here for a night on the Merano hohenweg. The room was spacious and comfortable but a bit like a posh motel . The biggest problem was a stiff formailty which made you feel like you couldnt talk above a whisper and certainly not laugh.

Molto piacevole il te con i biscotti a disposizione degli ospiti fuori la stanza, ed ottima ed abbondante la colazione. Ottimo rapporto prezzo-qualità.

Reviewed By LucanonWe were there for a couple nights and we felt like at home. A great place with everything you need. Location is minutes from anything you want to see or do in Merano! Thumbs up! Thank you to the lovely family who runs it! Just get rid of the chocolate fountain at the entrance or I will come back to finish it! ?

The rooms are cute and well designed working with the space and history of the building. The grounds are beautiful, you could spend all day on their terrace or sitting at the great pool. Breakfast is out of this world with everything homemade and fresh. Drip coffee, cakes she makes herself, fresh eggs, etc. Every day something new. Walking distance to some great restaurants, close to Merano by foot, great hiking trails and WINE! We will be back.

Modern, clean and nice hotel in unbeatable location in Egna
Reviewed By SpielenHotel opened about 5 years ago. Nice and simple, modern furniture with straight lines which still looks new. Spotlessly clean. I had a well-sized room with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street in the very heart of Egna which was enjoyable (absolutely no noise from outside though). Good quality, firm mattrasses and pillows. Service was good. Management tries to please you whenever possible. What I missed was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. But I have to add that you can get coffee in the breakfast room from 6am onwards so it’s not an issue. Good price for the quality you get. Will come back and can definitely recommend.

We have been in this region for several times and we are coming back. The Natural Park Puez Odle, St. Magdalena, Würzjoch, Paso, St.Pietro, Brixen.... so many place to see. The residence Schopplhof is nice place, we have the appartment with an incredible view. Everything was fine. We received the Dolomity Card and had nice sale for the entrance and sale to the cabin lift - it was realy useful. We had nice welcome and owner Peter is very friendly and kind person. Reviewed By Rob MWe visited with our whole family, 3 couples including two small children. Right from the start you feel home and welcome. The rooms are nicely decorated and include everything you might need from kitchen appliances till an extra bed hidden in the sofa. Dinner is just amazing, with a fusion of classical Austrian tastes and Italian food each evening felt like a party combined with good wines and hospitality. The breakfast is complete with food coffee variations available. You can reach the ski lifts with a 5-10 minutes walk and this area is great with good, new lifts - a big depot an sufficient facilities to have a drink and a snack after. Summarizing it’s a great place at a great location ran by great people.
