Tranquil setting
Reviewed By LeanneCirencesterLovely quiet cabin overlooking lake. Spacious room - great rain shower. Could do with a fridge (enough space for one) so drinks can be enjoyed on the decking! Nice big bed - and comfortable. Cabin a bit hot so needed the fan provided. Helpful and friendly staff - especially the lady on breakfast shift in the Spike Bar. Not much open (Covid restrictions) but did not hamper our stay. Peaceful short break.

We are a Small Bed and Breakfast of 3 rooms. We have one King size en-suite room, and a Double and Single that share a bathroom. We have a lounge just for guests with a Tv as we don’t think that if people come for a quiet weekend you would want to hear the next doors television. We offer room only or bed and breakfast of which we offer Cereals,Fruit,Yoghurts,Full English or Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs, Toast and Preserves. Tea,coffee and Juices.

Reviewed By Julie NMarion & Roger gave us a warm welcome each time we have visited. Tea & Cake always on hand no matter how late in the day. As Mark and I are keen walkers they supplied us with relevant maps and info on the local area. The room nicely decorated, bed really comfy and great breakfast!

Reviewed By shazan78Great city centre location, close to all amenities, safe secured, hidden away so you wouldn't notice it, which gives you great privacy. Beautifully decorated, furnished, keeping in with it's original features. Would highly recommend it.

Reviewed By H6344XAsallyfWe travelled here and came here for 1 night, the place stunk of damp,we drove home early hours in morning, place was an absolute wreck. I wouldn't take my dog there! Everywhere has been shut for 12 mths why has this place not been cleaned up??

Established in 1978, the guest house is a family run business able to offer home from home comforts at low prices with no hidden extras for you to worry about. We provide 5 rooms for bed and breakfast, ranging from a large single, to comfortable twins, spacious doubles and a 3 bed family room all located on our first and second floors. We can also offer a ground floor bedroom to less able people.

Dishonest and unstable owner, and unsafe accommodation
Reviewed By John SIt's one of the many places I've stayed at under airbnb, but the only one that was a bad experience, resulting in complaining to airbnb and to the environment department at Worcestershire council. The airbnb listing was not accurate - not outrageous lies, but some truth bending. One review saying that the view was spectacular was suspect (the view is not spectacular - you can't see the Malvern Hills from the room). Other reviews oddly disappeared from the listing. There were also many more rules than listed; you didn't get a key so had to arrange when to leave and return to the house; discouraged from using the toilet at night; the weird window in the room meant anyone in the stairwell could look in; no proper coffee (only decaff); I had to ask several times for the wifi code; numerous other issues I have never had in any other airbnb. Pauline had zero concept of personal space, and would hover around me, endlessly talking (and hoovering the dining table!) while I tried to eat breakfast. She wouldn't stop talking. She did not control her dog and I had to unambiguously tell her to stop it from sniffing at me while I was trying to eat. However, the worst thing was, instead of curtains, you had to attach a large and heavy board over the windows, and latch it into place. Which is verging on madness, and also a safety risk; if there was a fire or smoke incident, it would have made it near impossible to get out of the room or window. I took some pictures and sent to the council.

Reviewed By Sarah LThe place stank, the bathroom was filthy and unusable and there were bugs every where under the bed. No one to contact at all to complain and no one who could help over the phone. Wanted to move to another room but felt to weirded out by the whole place. Left first thing in the morning and not had any replies to my complaints or offers of a refund. Disgusting should be shut down!

Reviewed By CliveDEOh dear!! Oh dear!! Visited this establishment today. Asked for a table for four. Waitress said "Ok" and never came back after five minutes. Found out she started serving behind the bar and forgot about us. Went to table and ordered drinks. Looked at menu which looked alright and food was coming out of kitchen in a timely manner. After twenty minutes we were still waiting for our drinks and asked waitress to find out where they were. "On it's way", she said only for the original waitress who took our drinks order come back k and apologised as she hadn't even started the drinks. Decided to leave as we could have ended up spending two hours waiting for one drink and a chicken melt. Didn't leave me wanting to return soon. Will avoid at all costs and more importantly will inform all our friends and work colleagues.
