Teepee room was awful
Reviewed By Lmn82It’s a glorified garden shed, it’s any kind of hotel/motel room. Was told the teepee room was sealed and comfortable. It is not sealed (plant is literally growing in from outside), light is pouring in from the door, and it takes two adults to shut the door because it doesn’t fit the frame. Under the covers we found both a lizard and a spider. Also, the mattress is very uncomfortable. It’s 5 AM. I’m still awake. HARD PASS.

Some rooms are equipped with a balcony. We have a jacuzzi on the terrace at an extra cost to be booked in the structure.

Reviewed By SandaN8The host of the place is an amazing person. The rooms are clean, new and very nice to be at. Rooms are spacious and have nice interior. Every room has it's own WC, so that's really nice. The house is amazing, very large and the service is at the best level. Moreover, the location is perfect for Catania. This place is highly recommended.

The Dimora Edel is set in an early‘900 historic building and it is has been completely renovated. Every room features air conditioning, a deluxe Smart TV with soundbar, a mini-safe, a mini-fridge bar. A wooden floor terrace is furnished with tables and a barbecue available for guests’ use. In the garden two Jacuzzi hot tubs surrounded by four seats grant you an amazing view on the valley

Reviewed By stillworkingat68My wife and I made our reservation through Booking.com, this was for a suite with balcony, breakfast included. We arrived for our 3 night stay late afternoon to be met by the owner/manager? who checked us in. We were informed that breakfast was not being offered in the hotel and we were given vouchers for a cafe downtown in Modica ! 1. Two routes to the cafe, 1.5km round trip by road, or 1.4 km using 68 steps down to the main road, and then 68 steps back up on the return journey !. Walking was the only solution with parking being an impossibility 2. At the cafe I was told the voucher had a value of €5, that gave me an orange juice, coffee and croissant - no jam. 3. Through the tourist board office we attempted to contact the hotel, the person who checked us in had disappeared, never to remerge during our entire stay, never anybody at reception. 4. Balcony, yes, but just capable in letting a person stand 5. TV, no International channels 6. An ancient bed that creaked at the slightest movement 7 .Hospitality tray but with no milk provided 8. Usually we would expect a settee or comfortable chair in a suite, we had a table and 4 chairs 9. Terraced garden on several levels, only seating metal chairs 10. Street parking impossible, free parking 450 metres away It is a travesty to call this a luxury hotel Be warned

Our best stay in Sicily

Breakfast is excellent with fresh products and handmade cakes, marmalade, fruits from the garden etc. The swimming pool area is unique, with amazing view. Rooms are great, clean, well equipped. Staff were always helpful, and they really have the passion for treating guests the best way they can. We could easily have stayed longer…

L'Agua Green è una resort immerso nel verde della Val di Noto, a pochi km da Marzamemi e dalla splendida spiaggia di San Lorenzo e dalla Riserva di Vendicari. La struttura offre la possibilità di scegliere se dormire in villette familiari circondate da uno spazioso giardino privato o in B&B, con delle camere che si trovano a pochi metri dalla piscina del Resort. A poca distanza si trovano la Riserva di Vendicari e una tra le più belle spiagge di Noto, la spiaggia di San Lorenzo, dove tutti gli ospiti potranno trovare un ombrellone riservato nel lido Agua Beach.

Reviewed By barrys693I went with my wife and my family. Seven of us in all with 2 young grandchildren. A very nice place with a fabulous pool. It was a week of endless sun and time on the beach. The beach facilities were included in the package and we sat under a large palm shade. Perfect. Superb food at lunchtime with a great restaurant where you could reserve a table in the evening. We had one of the 10 villas which was reasonably spacious and well equipped. It came with a nice outside space in which you could relax. An extra bathroom would have helped but it was a good base for our holiday. Best thing at Agua Green was the magnificent pool. Worst was the check in facility which was carried out by a person who was clearly employed to tell you the basics but could have been more helpful.

Reviewed By GEORGE WWe are a couple in the mid seventies and were on holiday with another two couples. This is a family run business, and Carmelo and his wife Laura were extremely attentive and accommodating. The accommodation is new, well appointed, comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was excellent. The hotel is well positioned to tour the surrounding beautiful and historic sites in the area.

Reviewed By arnos544Very nice spacious rooms with balcony against competitive prices. Extremely friendly staff. Ornella is very helpful and gives some great advice what to do and where to eat and drink in Catania. Can certainly recommend to stay in Suite 35 when visiting Catania.

Reviewed By geoffandgill2We liked lots of aspects of this property. The property seemed to be newly completed and everything was well thought through in terms of layout and furnishings. It’s a lovely place to stay. The bathroom was very clean, the bedroom was spacious and the kitchen eating area was spacious and well resourced. We had a small balcony on the top floor which was excellent to sit out on and overlook the courtyard and roof tops drinking a glass of wine or drinking a coffee which was supplied in coffee machine- plus tea. We also had wine glasses, plates fridge etc. Chiara was extremely welcoming and gave us ideas where to visit in Catania plus a map. Parking was €3 a day and the carpark was secure. The property is 5 minutes walk from the fish market and Piazza Duomo. Lots of local restaurants too which were 2 minutes away. We liked Camelot for price and vegetable buffet and good kebabs(meat rolls). Chiara recommendation of local restaurants as good. We really enjoyed our stay here and throughly recommend. We did have to walk up two flights of steps. Not a problem for us.

Reviewed By Alfredo CAccoglienza cortese anche se un po' improvvisata, il palazzo e l'appartamento sono bellissimi ed in una posizione straordinaria per visitare la parte più bella di Catania. Non è semplicissimo arrivarci in automobile ma poi si parcheggia all'interno.
