In the smart hotel Saslong you can book only the overnight staying. Overnight staying with rich breakfast buffet, with a various choice of deliciousness's, homemade sweets, fresh fruits or yogurts from the near farms and obviously every kind of cold cuts and natural fruit juices. Or with half board, with the dinner in the Blue Restaurant which is situated in the hotel: where south Tyrolean and Italian dishes are served in very particular way, modern and creative; without neglect the good taste! It's situated at the beginning of St. Christina in a very calm area, but ideal in winter for skiing and in summer for hiking and excursions, bcause it's in front of our free ski and line busses which will bring you to the lifts in Ortisei and Selva. In winter we there is no neglect of fun and entertainment with the swing full music at the apres ski bar at the entrance!

Reviewed By Adrian PWe were on a week's ski holiday in an apartment from Saturday to Saturday, but had a Sunday flight home, so needed somewhere to stay for an extra night. The Smart Hotel was the ideal solution as they offered an early check in for a small extra fee, so we were able to drop our luggage in the room at 8.30 am and head off to the slopes. The hotel really is Smart: the room was spacious with quality fittings and fixtures; the ski room was state of the art and the best we've ever experienced. We chose to have an aperitif in the bar and eat in the restaurant in the evening; the service was excellent and we enjoyed a relaxing evening with top quality food: the Blue steak for two (800g) was amazing - melt in the mouth! Starters were also delicious and we were given a complimentary fried sardine and salad appetiser. Fantastic way to end the holiday. A ski bus stop is opposite the hotel, so very practical too.

Reviewed By Niek BThis was a kind of last minute booking since we realize that we could not make the distance to the hotel we booked originally. We were glad we made the change. The hotel is very nice, with good beds and quietness. The restaurant has an excellent menu even for our 4 year old daughter. Our daughter and I got a very special treat when we were having a drink. The Dutch golf umpire (or instructor) took us on a trip in a golf cart across the terrain. He allowed me daughter to run around the green and have some fun. I like to thank him again for taking to the time to do this for me daughter...Dankjewel.

Breakfast is good, although service is rather inattentive and juices are diluted with water. Helpfulness of reception staff varies by person, hence rather average. The "bar" is rather impersonal but with a good choice of wines and other drinks. No restaurant or room service.

Reviewed By onlyidaValeria and Nadia who are the owners of the Antica Residenza de Poda could not have been more helpful. They were a font of knowledge, super accommodating and extremely friendly. The family 'residenza' was delightful. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm. Breakfasts were delicious with loads of home-baking.

Reviewed By Christophe MWe have been coming here for years now to go skiing in Kronplatz, 3 Zinnen and Sella Ronda. All easily reachable with the train that stops at a 5 min walk from the hotel. Since this year the speed of the wifi internet is like at home, superfast and very reliable. Rooms, food, price and friendliness are always great !!! We’ll be back next year again!

Rooms or located on the lower levels with a view to the forest. Nice big rooms with balconies .... completely silent Good locations for hikes in the mountains or simply a spa/wellness treatment. We went for all and also participated in the morning yoga classes Food was good and in particular the breakfast, was delicious Staff is very friendly and helpful

Reviewed By Willpegg87Great hotel, located right next to the ski slopes, ski schools, ski lifts, rental equipment, shops and first aid, restaurant and apres ski bars! (All within a 30 meter walk!) The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay happy and relaxed. Although the hotel doesn’t offer vegan meals, we spoke with the restaurant staff and the chefs created new meals for us every day (as well as a wide selection of a salad buffet beforehand) If I were to make one minorly critical point: it would be nice to have at least one fixed vegan option on the menu every day. We were tired on the last day and decided to visit some nearby towns, unfortunately we got caught in a blizzard on the way back up to the hotel. The hotel owner himself came out and pulled our car up the hill with his 4x4 himself! (Many thanks Gottfried, this is service well beyond our expectations :-)) The hotel itself has a welcoming reception, delightful fire, swimming pool, sauna and a hotel bar. This was a fantastic trip with plenty of fun blue and red ski slopes (with one or two black ones as well) I highly recommend this hotel and thank them for making this a memorable stay. Many thanks!

Sofa beds in the kitchen/lounge area were 2 individual ones that suited our older children and just enough space to leave them up in the day time. Good WiFi and air con(although a bit noisy to have on at night). Beautiful views across the mountains and a balcony off each room. 15 mins walk to restaurants and bars and a further 15 mins to the centre of town. 5 mins in the car and easy to park. Being a bit out of town the location was quiet and suited us well. Parking directly outside or in the underground car Park. Only downside was the pool which was small and had limited beds/shaded areas. Riva is a great base for exploring the North of the lake and we would revisit.

Parking up the road in the square is free but could not be ideal in a crowded season. (Some places are 1hr parking, the others are unlimited)
