Surprisingly good hotel
Reviewed By bonyheadI don't have usually have any expectation for Chinese chain hotels until I stayed in this one. While it is a bit far away from the city, it is also surprisingly good. The rooms are clean, the service is outstanding, especially the front desk staff is very professional. Perhaps the only negative is that meals would be a problem if you don't know you way around the area. They do serve breakfast and it is very good. I like it so much that I decided to stay in this chain again when I was in Shanghai.

Reviewed By TravellingApeA few bus-stops away from Suzhou Train station and 5 minutes' walk to a quaint old street "Qi Li Shan Tang" (7-mile Shan Tang Street) which is just beside a canal. Room is fairly cosy and well-furnished. The more expensive rooms look out into a small typical Suzhou style garden which is within the hotel premises. Very convenient location, generally friendly front desk staff, prompt housekeeping service, comfortable bed and clean shower room. Rate is reasonable (slightly below 200 RMB for a small double room) given that everything works fine. My only complaint is the poor sound-proofing. I could hear guests' banter along the corridor and in the rooms next to mine. So if you're unlucky and end up with noisy, inconsiderate guests next door, you'll end up being rudely woken up by their loud chatter and door slaming.

Reviewed By Mattson1After verification of reservations with the front desk, we were advised that laowie (white foreigners) are forbidden to stay here under military authority. A military facility is next door and I'm assuming they are concerned with surveillance operations. No problem with this per see; except that the hotel had my name and passport # on confirmation and finding out about the local military rule when I arrive is nothing short of vile service. They did provide transportation to another 7 Day Inn downtown (we were advised it was three star, on arrival we confirm that a single star simply doesn't exist for this establishment) which turned out to be a superior location. If your an adventurous kind of traveler, then this place works very well compared to hostels. If you're looking fro anything more, you'll be very sadly disappointed.

Excellent location, poor hotel
Reviewed By Ömer YLocated in the hearth of the touristic area. Rooms are small. Hotel facilities are poor. Air conditions work terribly. I had to change the room three times. Worst of all nobody speaks any language except Chinese. Not for foreign tourists.

The breakfast was chinese which was good. the staff was good even though they no speak english good. sign language worked good. i picked this hotel because it was close to daughters house. and it was a good pick. I would stay here again when i return to china. thanks

苏州格林豪泰不错
Reviewed By 困神这家格林豪泰的位置还算好，虽然有点远但苏州的交通是很方便的，直达车可以到市中心。酒店整体让人感觉都很好，大堂比较大，有沙发供休息和WIFI上网，房间空间宽敞，床也很大，软硬适当，新的液晶电视机，虽然节目不多，效果还不错。上网速度也还不错，有200多K，卫生间淋浴效果比较好，洗澡方便和舒服，有地方可以挂衣服，这个很重要。第二天的早餐是传统的中式的，稀饭和包子，咸菜，味道偏甜。

Reviewed By 杨妞子房间的布置和卫生非常整洁和干净,前台和客房服务都很热情。住的是大床房。空间比一般的经济酒店要大一点，而且看上去感觉很舒适。卫生也干净！睡觉的时候特别的安静！早餐也不错！才10元一个人，自助早餐，值的！
