Fantastic atmosphere
Reviewed By NottinghamfoodfanCortona itself is a great place to visit. Full of great restaurants, bars and cafes. It's foodie heaven in this town. This is a very simple but incredibly tranquil base. Very clean, very relaxing. The manager is lovely. A short walk from here to the heart of town. Watch out though as Cortona is full of steep walks so you need to be reasonably fit to visit this town. If you do and you want somewhere peaceful, clean and a special to stay at a great price then I highly recommend staying here.

The B&B San Michele is a comfortable house in the middle of Castiglion Fiorentino. It was restructured at the begin of 2006 and offers an ecceptional confort, in the classical tuscan old style. Wonderful location where to live special moments, in winter, in front of the ancient fireplace or in summer, in the fresh bedrooms. There are many activities in Castiglion Fiorentino, to live an unforgettable holiday.

An amazing, magical place in a quiet residential area of Castiglion Fiorentino, that is the ideal starting point to visit other beautiful towns like Siena, Cortona, Pienza. This amazing B&B is impeccably on point in charm, luxury and hospitality. We are so thrilled we decided to visit Suite San Michele and we feel fortunate that we found our new favorite place to stay. There’s no doubt this place is beautiful and it has pretty much everything you need from a 5 star stay. We stayed in double bedroom with private bathroom and paid 80,00€ for 2 people for one night. That price includes breakfast. The room was lovely, super clean and tidy. Private wellness area is 35€ per person for whole day. The best thing it was the private Spa room. It was so romantic, intimate and perfect place for couples or celebrating anniversaries. The private spa is the best we have ever been to. We were taken to a private room which included fruit, tea, and beverages. A large sauna, steam room, huge hot tub, showers. We were allowed to stay there until 9 pm. The staff was so friendly and nice and even gave us extra time at the end of the night. Private Jacuzzi was absolutely amazing, with hydrotherapy jets and a cascading,back lit waterfall, this tub was made for quality one-on-one time. The user-friendly controls allow you to adjust the jets for a perfect full-body or deep-tissue massage. It has a built-in underwater light that can create a tranquil and romantic ambiance. Breakfasts were very good and satisfying, you could choose from high quality fresh pastries, fresh organic fruit and juices or cheeses and cold cuts of Tuscan tradition. All breakfast menus are comprehensive of coffee, cappuccino, teas and sweets by choice. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We felt special from the beginning to the end. I was so happy with our stay that actually was sad to leave. We will definitely be back and will recommend this peace of heaven to everyone! Thank you for making our Valentine's celebration so special. Karin Eberling

Reviewed By cindyh578I cannot say enough about how fabulous Borgo Solamore is. The setting is perfect, the food outstanding, and most of all, the hosts become friends. Alessandra and her son went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. From the amazing breakfasts and gourmet dinners to the beautiful, peaceful setting, everything about Borgo Solamore is perfect. Our stay there lacked nothing, We came as a party of 6 and stayed in the main house which was spacious, clean, and perfect for a group. Come stay with Alessandra and Marco - you will be glad you did!

Superb B&B with awesome hosts!
Reviewed By VeeraS9This B&B is very well located just next to the entrance to the city. There are street parking spots but also two parking lots with no cost just few hundred meters away. We parked our car to one one of the parking lots. We were greeted by Alberto who let us in to the apartment. The apartment is so beautiful it takes your breath away! And has a lovely terrace! We took our luggage in our room and Alberto offered us some wine. We sat at the terrace for awhile just taking it all in. Alberto checked our breakfast preference and possible dietary restrictions and the time we would like to have the breakfast. We got our keys and we could easily enter and exit through the garden door. We had dinner in the city and then came back via wine store to just enjoy the lovely terrace. In the morning we met the other owner Daniele. Had a nice chat with him about traveling in Italy as he is a hospitality industry professional. Breakfast was just perfect. Cheeses, ham, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, juice, coffee and self-made cakes. Staying at this B&B was superb and Alberto and Daniele are super hosts! No doubt we will be back! If you are looking a relaxing stay out of big cities but some historic scenery this is your pick!

We were the first guests after the lockdown and we were treated like royals. Giulio and Alice made us feel like home in the most wonderfull place in the world

Fantastic stay close to Piero's frescos!
Reviewed By concertoitalianoI couldn't hope for anything better. The room is right in Arezzo downtown, just few meters away to the Basilica di San Francesco with the frescos by Piero della Francesca. The B&B is a refurnished ancient 3-storey house. The room is large, I loved the decor, the comfort, and of course the great cakes that owner Yuri left in the evening. Very high value also in relation with the price. Communication with Yuri was great, we exchanged phone and he came and picked me up at the train station.
