Reviewed By rachaelaa2022The trip to the lake was fantastic and our guide Ot made sure we got to hear and see everything the lake has to offer (frogs, birds, monkeys and more). Of course the accommodation on the lake was very basic but the staff and the food was top class. Although a bit of repair work on the walkways would not be a bad idea as a few of the wooden slats were rotting or broken. We really appreciated being able to take out canoes on our own to explore the lake ourselves. The second evening we were in the double story tree house - incredible!! The monkeys on the terrace was just the best surprise- we made sure we kept all doors shut so they couldn’t get inside and cause havoc!!! Our family ( with 3 teenagers) can highly recommend Our Jungle camp to anyone who is prepared to overlook a few bugs or two ( Moskitos were only an issue outside but in the treehouse it was well prepared and we didn’t get bitten ). The kids (13, 16 & 19) would have loved an extra night here!

Khao Sok Good View Resort is a new small resort with a nice restaurant and a beautiful view from your balcony.There are three bungalows for two persons and one family room for four or five people.The bungalows are including air-condition, TV and mini bar and breakfast.

Reviewed By DayTrip28628480595Completely loved my stay at Rock and Treehouse Resort. I was most excited about staying here, I loved the fact that it looked like a huge…treehouse. The stilt rooms, huge rocks, massive old trees and nature surrounding made it such a lovely place to stay. Monkeys trying to steal your things, the sounds of insects every second of the day and night. Just perfect. We arrived from the train station about an hour away and staff were immediately attentive, friendly and helpful on arrival. They took our bags to our room whilst we checked in etc. Gave me some time to have a little look around, it was so peacefully quiet, just the sound of insects. I liked our room. It was clean, cosy and simple. The pool at the resort was ok, cleaned daily and nice to relax in. Nice hot shower, fridge, kettle and various hot drink options. Breakfast was included everyday at the resort, a buffet style thing with the typical eggs, toast, sausages etc. Note there are not many options for vegans, only option was potatoes, fruit and toast. Plus drinks and stuff. So if you’re vegan it would be hard. Would recommend maybe bringing some of your own stuff, there is a fridge in rooms so can store it there. And I’m sure they’d be happy to cook up whatever you give them to cook. Wasn’t so keen on all the bees and wasps that attack you as you’re eating your breakfast lol, so if you’re not keen on them I’d avoid breakfast. We went on a lovely kayak ride down the river with a tour guide at the resort. He was so lovely and gave us some souvenirs. It was an amazing experience. Overall I loved my experience here, I would certainly return.

Reviewed By bard_treiWe loved our stay at Montania. We spent two nights in the Chalet room, which was small but very comfortable. The area is beautiful, and the hotel is basically right in the jungle and has incredible views from the room and pool. There are plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk down the road from the hotel. The staff are also great. Son (the manager/owner) helped us organize an overnight lake trip (which I highly recommend - Khao Sok is beautiful and staying the night on the lake was a lot of fun) and let us store our bags at the hotel while we were there. The breakfast was tasty, and we also organized transfers to and from Khao Sok through the hotel, which were quick and affordable. Highly recommend to anyone interested in getting out into nature while in Thailand!

Reviewed By IevtravelVery cute house. Happy that we booked the one with airco. The room was very clean. 5 min Walking to the main street of Khao sok. The owner was not very kind or helpfull. Maybe of we did book the tour at the hotel hè would be nicer.

Reviewed By MarcusFrisellWe were dining at the Resort restaurant because it looked great. I ordered a cordon bleu and was told they did not have it. I said okay and ordered another dish. Many things were apparently out of stock but i can understand this as there are not many customers around during these hard Times. Another person in my company then ordered a steak.. 1 hour later he recieved a cordon bleu instead of his steak.. And was charged extra for it as well. Really? Another person ordered a type of fish and when it arrived around 90 minutes later it was a different fish. The reasoning for this the staff said: "we dont have the fish you ordered" So you give us another dish and assume its okay? Please ask the customer next time about what they would like to change to, never assume. How about the cordon bleu i ordered that you did not have. Why did you have it all of a sudden and serve it to someone else who did not even order it? As for the food taste.. Fries were as yellow as it can get. I was told you only had pepper sauce yet when the steak arrived there was no pepper sauce to be seen, only sweet chicken sauce. Basil leaves was very bland. The other dishes was alright but nothing special from what i was told by the other members of my company. Looks like a great Resort but please take a look at your service staff and kitchen staff. Many things that can be improved here. Great atmosphere is the only Good thing i can give this place and that is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. Would i come back? Depends if the situation is the same in The future.

You will be surprised by our Thai style bungalows...of Thai aesthetics, but with European comfort inside. They are on the edge of the jungle, and the panoramic windows allow you to feel it and live it.
Nice setting close to National Park
Reviewed By PlymouthPete19This hotel occupies a nice setting in a peaceful wooded area on a steep slope, yet close to a range of bars, restaurants and shops, and only 10-15 minutes' walk from the entrance to Khao Sok National Park (where several walking trails start). The site includes a small (but quite deep) swimming pool. Mr Chot, the manager, is very friendly and helpful, always willing to provide information and sorted a minor problem we had with the room, very quickly. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order from a menu including choices of eggs and pancakes plus fruit and nice coffee (however, the portions are not huge and the hotel makes it clear you pay extra if you want more). Our room (like all the others, an individual cabin) was clean, quite spacious, neatly tiled throughout and with a comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were good. In addition to the air con, a fan was provided. There was also a seating area outside the room. Wifi was ok and a safe provided. Birds seen in the grounds included: Little Spiderhunter, Red-throated Barbet, Stripe-throated Bulbul (feeding young) and also - just over the road - Orange-bellied Flowerpecker. If you like the sound of the setting, this hotel is certainly worth considering for a stay in Khao Sok.

Reviewed By prinsestimonLovely hotel with only 10 bungalows in a really nice tropical setting. Miss Sia is great and so sweet, she looks after everyone so well. Kun is also lovely and so sweet. We felt very welcome here. Hope to come back here some day.
